They don't set up consisterly for outside service for weekend Spring Training games like their sister restaurant North does. The salsa is bland and the nachos uninspiring. The margarita tree was fun. Late night, service was bad - nobody came to our table and the bartender didn't want to help us out and step on the toes of the non-existent server. We were about the only ones on there, and it took forever to get drinks.

My friend wanted to try this place but I was hesitant as I have my favorite 3 Mexican restaurants that are not chains but mom and pop locations. First thing I noticed was the ice tea was not fresh brewed, it is fountain tea. Second, the chips and hot salsa (ask for it if you like something more than a 0 spice which is their table salsa) was good, as was our cheese crisp appetizer. Third, the short ribs had good flavor but the meat was a bit tougher than it should be. They add beans to your burrito so tell them not to if you’re not into that like me, lol. I had the charro beans which were blah, my friend had the black beans which were dry, and the rice, ugh! It’s minute rice or Uncle Ben’s, I know that horrible instant rice smell and taste, they try to doctor it up with cilantro but just no, how could you do that with the fountain tea, yuck.

Was not overly busy being a Spring Training game day. Ordered a taco salad and two tacos. Took nearly 30 minutes to get our food. The fish taco was chewy and over cooked and I never got the second taco I ordered. Was a great atmosphere, but below average service.

Pretty slow service, good portions, kids beef taco is pretty spicy, recommend the kids chicken. The chocolate tree leches cake was good but a bit more hard than I'm used to.

Service was quick and friendly. The Burrite (?) Tacos were unique and delicious. They were like a taco french dip. Great location and atmosphere. Prices were great for the product.

Food was good, not great, definitely different than most mex restaurants. An extra star for our server Forest, who was a fun, friendly server that was definitely on top of his game.

8/26 - 6 people for dinner… The atmosphere is very lively and friendly from the hostesses to the staff. No loud music so talking / hearing one another is easy. The guacamole ($14) and Warm Queso ($11) are very good. The free Chips and Salsa are very good. Remember to ask for the hot salsa. The food was smash burger was average at best. The Chicken Salad, Carne Asada Fajitas, Grilled Mahi Tacos, Chimichanga and dessert empanadas were very tasty.

This was our first time at the restaurant. We arrived as a party of 16. They told me about a 30-45 min wait. I understood & we waited. We didn’t get seated until about 7:55m. We arrived at 7:05PM. Keep in mind they close at 9 PM. 2 people received their food at 8:45, the rest of us until 9PM or so. I’m only giving 3 starts because the girls were really nice & I’m sure the things we were unhappy with were out of their control, but other than that it was not worth the two hours of waiting for seating and food. It was for my sisters birthday, but we didn’t bother to say anything just because of how everything was already going.

First time here. Fresh corn tortillas are excellent and my wife enjoyed her food so much, she stated that she liked it more than Barrio Queen.

we came on valentines day this year.. while the wait for food was pretty long, we're not really the type to make a fuss. especially on one of the busiest days of the year. Our server Miranda (the name on the receipt unfortunately dont remember if thats what she said her name was. she had dark curly hair and glasses) she was absolutely amazing. she had a great attitude and kept all her tables updated on the progress of their order. there was a man nearby getting all emotional and upset about the wait and ended up walking out. she handled that interaction perfectly and we were very impressed as we definitely wouldn't have had the patience for his tantrum like she did. the first thing we said when we got to the car was how great she was. thank you!!
edit: food was worth the wait too!

First visit to this location, the location interior and exterior is beautiful. This is a huge restaurant! The fresh made chips are amazing, couldn't stop eating them. I had higher expectations for the menu items, maybe they need more specials? Kids menu was minimal but $7 is great. My salad was bleh. My husband really enjoyed his shrimp fajitas and margarita though! So maybe stick with the staple menu items. Service was good, but not overly amazing or joyful (I felt like she was a little tired and I didn't want to inconvenience her). Overall good visit, just not overly wowed.
