Greeted by Faisel, the owner's son, as he was working behind the counter, with a huge smile, we knew that all of you yelpers know what you're talking about. Everything about this place is fabulous: the cleanliness, the friendliness, the freshness...I love falafel. The falafel rings, with a whole in the middle, are unlike any falafel I've ever tasted. Faisel told us the detailed process/discovery it took to get them this way. The chicken schwarma sandwich was pressed, allowing for the inside taste not to be smothered by unnecessary dough. The chicken schwarma platter was tasty as well. The lentil soup - perfect! One of the best parts of the meal was chatting with enthusiastic smiling Faisal AND he gave us Casa de Falafel packaged lentil soup to take home! Worth a drive to eat here!

This place has the best chicken shawarma sandwich in town. The hummus is amazing too, so smooth with great flavor. I usually hate falafels, they tend to be dry with bland flavor. I can safely say every time I go to casa de falafel I have to order a side of their falafel rings. They taste amazing, I'm addicted to this place. I think they're family owned too! Super nice employees, always welcoming.

I live nearby and love going here for the chicken shawarma! I have never been a fan of hummus until i got it here! They have the best and smoothest hummus I've ever tried! The small portion of the lentil soup that comes with the sandwich makes you wanna lick the bowl! The service is awesome as well! The workers are generally happy to serve you! Always clean! Always busy!

The food is great and the service is friendly. I love the variety you get with the plates including all the sauces but watch out for the green sauce! It’s so hot it caught me off guard ?

Great food, close to campus and at a fair price. Shawarma portions are enough for 2 meals, so it makes great leftovers.

I came here previously when this joint was in a gas station and I still recall how good their Falafel rings are. Yes, they make it in a ring shape rather than a ball which is peculiar.Made the trip again to the west side to try most of the items on the menu this time. This place definitely didn’t disappoint and worth the hype, apparently found that their falafel rings are ranked nationally. Hands down, best I had in Phoenix so far. Their Hummus, Tabbouleh and Lentil soup were all tasty and appetizing. The chicken and beef shawarma sandwiches hit the spot. They were juicy, flavorful and the sauce was just right. Don’t forget to grab some baklava and their signature lentil soup mix to make at home. Overall, simple and authentic.I hope they expand and open another Casa De Falafel more central or east.

Quite possibly the best falafel we've had in our liiiiiiiives!!!! We came here for our last meal in Phoenix, and ended the trip on a bang. The place has a bit of clinical restaurant feel, but don't worry, the food tastes as homemade as it gets. We ordered the falafel plate and a chicken shawarma wrap and three perfectly tiny squares of baklava. The best part is, that while you're there, they will give you a sample of falafel with some tahini in its own little boat. Way to wet the beak! Honestly, the decision to make the falafel in a donut shape is one of the most GENIUS food moves that we have ever seen in our lives. Superior to the ball in every way! You get more surface area crunch and the flavor of this magical falafel donut was outstanding in every way. We say this as fellow Middle Easterners who know our ways around a good falafel ball (it's not advertised but we think the owners are Syrian). In whichever case, A+, outstanding work, five out of five! The shawarma wrap wasn't as impressive, but still very good. It had a unique sauce and we couldn't quite place the ingredient that was piquing our curiosity. The lentil soup is also excellent--thick, but not heavy. Hummus is SMOOTH like buttah. It's the good stuff. One of us is obsessed with pickled turnips and they serve them here, and we only wish that we had gotten more with our salad! We have a teensy complaint about the salad, and that's that it wasn't chopped, as advertised. It came out more whole, which isn't fun for building your own pita with. Speaking of pita, this was more of a larger, thin flatbread that you ripped apart as opposed to the smaller fluffy ones, but it was less filling, so we still liked it. Tabouleh was too runny, you could tell that it had been sitting for a while. Our only other minor gripe was with the baklava. We enjoyed the tiny portion after such a big meal, but it really needed more viscosity or "resting" for the phyllo to soften and the whole thing to be more congealed, letting the honey soak in. But still, it was pretty good. Anyway, the people working are SO nice, the food is incredible, and we *really* appreciated that there was no pro-XYZ propaganda in the restaurant. Five happy stars; we will 100% be back here again the next time that we are in Phoenix.

Casa De Falafel is a hidden gem in the world of Mediterranean cuisine, and their Choco Tacos are an absolute game-changer! This charming restaurant seamlessly combines the rich flavors of the Mediterranean with a sweet twist that will leave your taste buds dancing. Let's talk about the Choco Tacos. From the moment they arrived at our table, I knew we were in for a treat. The presentation alone was enough to whet our appetites, but the taste was what truly stole the show. The soft taco shell was filled with a decadent blend of chocolate, nuts, and a hint of caramel, creating a symphony of flavors that left us craving more. It's the perfect dessert for those who appreciate the art of blending diverse tastes into a harmonious experience. Beyond the Choco Tacos, Casa De Falafel's Mediterranean Grill offerings are equally impressive. The menu boasts a wide variety of dishes, each bursting with freshness and authentic flavors. From the savory falafels to the perfectly grilled kebabs, every bite transported us to the heart of the Mediterranean. The ambiance at Casa De Falafel is cozy and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a casual meal with friends. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring that your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. What sets Casa De Falafel apart is their commitment to quality ingredients and their innovative approach to traditional dishes. The Choco Tacos are a testament to their ability to push culinary boundaries while still paying homage to their Mediterranean roots. Whether you're a fan of Mediterranean cuisine or simply looking for a unique dessert experience, Casa De Falafel is a must-visit. Prepare to be impressed by their Choco Tacos and leave with a newfound appreciation for the delightful fusion of flavors this restaurant has to offer.
