CHAR Pizzeria Napoletana

New to town, ordered online for myself and a friend. Noticed there was a Sunday special when I picked up my order. Asked if I could take advantage of the special and add to my order but the person who assisted me said, no, that is an in person special. He did not apologize, did not offer to assist with order or even offer any type of resolution. We left disappointed with our tiny, overpriced pizza. He could have offered to give us the special and FYI for future reference but instead he just simply said, I can't do that. Our system doesn't allow that. The food was good but sadly we will not return due to the terrible service we received.

Went there for the first time this weekend with my family who just moved to Peoria. I ordered the Meat Lovers Pizza and I have to say it was the best pizza I’ve ever had. Look forward to going back there again.

On our trip to Peoria, AZ we stumbled upon CHAR Pizzeria Napolitana on the way to our hotel. What a great find! The welcoming staff made us feel right at home offering nice recommendations
to go along with your order. The pies were delicious! The hand tossed dough, excellent sauce and great topping choices to personalize the pie to your liking. The hot firewood ovens cooking you pizza quick and with the perfectly slight char to the crust, leaving a fluffy interior to enjoy. I enjoyed a tasty beer from their excellent selection that rounded out my experience dining here with the wife. I really liked the Old World flavors I enjoyd in Italy, here at CHAR. Do yourselves a solid and stop by, you will have a new favorite pizza spot in Peoria.

I don't know if an off night (my first time here ever), but the dough was not good at all, dense, super chewy, not like I would expect from a Napolentana style pizza place.
