Ordered delivery and the food itself was fresh and well made. However, we ordered pho, and they didn’t include the standard side of fresh bean sprouts, Thai basil, sliced jalapeños and lime wedges. Impossible for pho to taste like pho without those items, and no self respecting Vietnamese restaurant would serve it without them. Not sure if it was a one time oversight, but I doubt I’ll order from them again to find out.

Restaurant closed at 9pm. I arrived at 8pm, kindly waited to be seated unlike most. After 40 minutes plus, with zero communication, the lady walked by and gave us an attitude saying that they close at 9pm and how many customers been coming. I still did not say anything but patiently waited. In the end, I had to walk out with almost an hour wait, no serving, nothing. She skipped us at least twice for bigger tables. Afterall, I do not comment on the food and mainly the service. ZERO professionalism and utter DISRESPECT to customers. I would be happy and accept the polite No if she said in the beginning.

First Visit to Dong Que did not disappoint! I was looking for authentic Vietnamese food, the kind from my childhood and I have found my favorite new spot! The Pho Tai was very good, the broth tasted like mom's used to. Also had these hard to find Vietnamese dishes, Crispy Rice with Pork Belly and Catfish with sweet n salted sauce, so delicious! Will be back & definitely recommend!

First time here and I will be coming back! Best place in Phoenix!! We had the broken rice with pork, broken rice with pork chops, beef pho and two types of spring rolls. Everything was delicious. They put a little bit of spice in their fish sauce which adds another dimension of flavor. Can't wait to come back and try more.

This is one of my top 3 Vietnamese restaurants. My family is from Vietnam and finding food this authentic in the states is a blessing! The quality and freshness of the ingredients create extraordinary cuisine. The prices are unbelievably reasonable. Of course the pho is amazing but ask the friendly staff about something on their extensive menu and give it a try. That’s where the magic happens. Many Vietnamese restaurants are watered down to accommodate people who are not familiar with authentic cuisine. Dong Que is the real deal. And they have great karaoke singers on the weekends!Kid-friendliness: Kids loved the karaoke.

Hu tieu Nam Vang: 5/5, real quail egg!!! Not the sad canned ones. Other toppings are also quite authentic. The broth is good. I wish there was pickled garlic but anyway, it's good enough for me to come back for it.Pho: 4/5. Extra point for beef ribs. It needs to be stewed 30 mins more though. Not tender enough. The soup broth is good but it could use some more seasonings.

We had some amazing food here. Catfish in caramelized sauce had a terrific flavor. The atmosphere is a bit jarring but just ignore that.

Pickup order was 30+ minutes late. Ordered 2 entrees, 1 was the wrong one. Wife says the actual food was good, honestly, I was so annoyed, and didn't get the good I ordered anyway, I didn't eat it.
