After Juan’s Mexican Food on Thomas and 16th street closed down. This is where I come for the best hardshell shredded beef tacos.The prices are great, the food quality is 9/10 great flavor and made fresh to order. I've tried mostly everything on the menu, so far, I haven't found any item I dislike.My favorite item is the California Burrito. The best one I've had hands down, no competition.

Parking: Small parking lot, spaces are limited. Tight area. Check...

Skip filiberto’s and come here. Affordable with large portions!I came in and ordered a chorizo quesadilla ($6.50). Once I sat down they gave me hot tortilla chips with beans, queso fresco on top, and some hot salsa on the side. Food came out quick and was delivered to the table I was sitting at. Plating was thoughtful and food was delicious!

Was going to the nearest Filiberto’s until… I saw this place right next to it. Enchiladas and carne asada tacos were great affordable and came with free chips and salsa with beans and grated cheese on them. Salsa was bomb. Highly recommend over filly b’s. Real forks and knives too. Great friendly service came to check on me in the middle of my meal which was nice
