I have been coming here for years (since voo was our chef) but came in this evening and was disappointed to find that they no longer offer hibachi. You can do still order from the hibachi menu but the hibachi dining room is now closed. Our server was wonderful and the food tasted fine.

One server 2 hours before close send like you are trying to limit how much I can eat. Also have a lot of rules. if I pay 2$ per piece I'm taking my food with me. Also it was really dark.

I didnt expect to get delicious salmon pieces in Arizona! Haha
$30 "all-you-can-eat-sushi" was a great idea. Service was wonderful, especially when there was 6 people ordering more and more. Thank you. Delicious sushi.

With some TLC, this place has the ability to be great. But here are the glaring problems I saw:

This place took over the building from the old Osaka restaurant and it is very clear they didn't spend any time or money improving the parts that are in disrepair. The men's bathroom was in awful shape and smelled strongly of urine - is in dire need of renovation. There were booth seats with big tears. and overall just lack of care for the atmoshpere.

Another issue is that even though the interior is in need of renovation and in many ways feels run down, the prices are still as high as other AYCE sushi places we enjoy such as Akita and Juun. Meanwhile they have much nicer interiors - especially with Akita who has the coolest bathrooms ive ever seen.

One note I would like to leave in regards to the actual food is that although we enjoyed most of what we ate, your specialty sushi options could really use more flavor diversity. 9 of your 12 specialty rolls have spicy elements for example - it would be nice to see more creations that dont focus on spicy mayo. For one example i always enjoy rolls that have a touch of mango for a pop of flavor. Just overall is good to have many different flavor profiles for the specialty rolls. A lot of the specialty rolls seemed very similar. otherwise... food was great.

Lastly, the server, while she was very nice, forgot several items we asked for throughout the night and did not come around as much as she should (even though we were one of only 3-4 tables there so it wasn't even busy). I would expect more frequent checkins to ensure we have all we need.

We went for my son’s 30th birthday. We had a party of eight . Three of us wanted all you can eat sushi and the rest of us were going to order off the menu . We were told we all had to order it or we had to sit away from the people that were going to order all you can eat . We laughed and said we would sit one seat away from . We spent close to 250 dollars . There was 5 pieces of sushi left and they charged us for it . We have never been treated so poorly . The poor server had to take the heat why the coward manager sat in the corner . Definitely do not recommend!!!

I haven't written a review in years. But that's just how much I really want people to spend their money elsewhere. Only 1 order of sashimi per person, per session. 1 order is 3 pieces. What a rip-off of AYCE. I really wish I did more research before coming here. You see AYCE in their name, and you think they would honor it. I have never seen so much fine text on anyone's AYCE menu than this place. Their rules are 3/4 of the paper. Their rolls and nigiri have tons of rice and are extremely drenched in sauce. Their baked scallop roll had 10 pieces of scallop instead of being covered in it like other places. Please, go to AKITA instead. It's like $35 for AYCE, but sashimi is actually AYCE. I easily eat about $100 worth of sashimi at Akita. We had 1 appetizer, 4 rolls, 2 orders of nigiri, and 2 orders of sashimi. At the end of it all was 1 piece of 1 roll. An absurdly huge, badly cut end piece; just 1. And they told us they were gonna charge us for the entire roll. Seriously, at Akita, they'll let you get away with half of the entire roll for free. I regret not going to my regular spot, I spent $80 here. I feel like I disrespected my asian parents bt not getting more value out of my money. No hate on any of the staff. They did their job and followed store policy.

I have to agree with most reviews here, food was very good but service is absolutely terrible. Came in a Sunday night there were 2 tables in the restaurant, we ordered combos that included soup and salad, those came out 7 minutes after our meal. I finished my drink and food and sat for 15 minutes before anyone came up to me, I would have ordered more drinks and maybe dessert if someone had attended to us. 3 servers were sitting in the sushi bar playing rock paper scissors with the sushi chefs… so sad. This could be a good place, but don’t waste your money.

Sushi was adequate but took over an hour to get all our food. Some of our party had to leave because their baby got tired and they had to take the baby home. Because they had to leave and not all of our sushi had been delivered it was not all eaten therefore we were charged for the pieces we didn’t eat. Tried to cancel several rolls and were unable too. Only 3 other parties in the restaurant at the same time. This is the 2nd trip to this restaurant with the same timing issue. Management needs to staff the restaurant appropriately. We will not be returning.

**One Star**
My experience at Hana Tokyo All You Can Eat was extremely disappointing. I visited with my 2-year-old and 7-year-old, and the restaurant refused to serve them without charging for sushi, despite my explanation that sushi is not appropriate for their age. I requested a bowl of rice and noodles, and was willing to pay the menu prices for these items. The manager insisted on charging for sushi, citing it as their policy, and was unyielding even after I explained multiple times that my kids would only eat the rice and noodles. This unreasonable policy, coupled with the manager's lack of understanding, left us no choice but to leave. It's no surprise that the restaurant had only two other parties dining. This place is clearly not family-friendly and seems to dislike children. Avoid if you have kids!

Great food, good selection of sushi. I came here with friends several times, always bringing a lot of people or recommending to many friends, because you get yummy sushi for a low price and a nice atmosphere. Every time we ask to be served by Amanda, and everyone in the party (often 10+ guests) is very pleased with her. She’s very informative, kind, and fast. She knows the menu well and explains all the rules this place has, so the guests aren’t surprised when they get the final bill.
There is usually a wait to be seated and not because there are no tables available - quite the opposite - but because there is rarely anyone at the host station. The restaurant seems understaffed.

Just stopped by here on a road trip and was thoroughly impressed by the sushi roll quality. This place offers the perfect price point, especially considering the generous portion sizes of their rolls. Shoutout to Hunter for providing excellent service!
