Good food overall! It's definitely worth the ayce price if you want multiple things off the menu. Otherwise, I don't think the non-sushi dishes stand up by themselves price-wise.

Honest to god. Worst sushi and service I have ever experience. I don't understand how can service get that bad. It took 30 mins for 2 plates dishes to come out, even though it was dead in a restaurant. The waitress severely lack training and service. Very rude and kept forgetting or orders over and over. Seriously just shut the place down. I rather get sushi from a grocery store, than here. Save your money.

Sushi was half-assed. The pictures on the menu did not match what was brought out. So upsetting.

Was so disappointed that there is no more hibachi and even more disappointed with the service, the quality of food, and the time of which food came out. There was only one other party there so it is very upsetting to get the service we got. Never would I recommend or go again to this place.

I have been coming here for years (since voo was our chef) but came in this evening and was disappointed to find that they no longer offer hibachi. You can do still order from the hibachi menu but the hibachi dining room is now closed. Our server was wonderful and the food tasted fine.

One server 2 hours before close send like you are trying to limit how much I can eat. Also have a lot of rules. if I pay 2$ per piece I'm taking my food with me. Also it was really dark.

I didnt expect to get delicious salmon pieces in Arizona! Haha
$30 "all-you-can-eat-sushi" was a great idea. Service was wonderful, especially when there was 6 people ordering more and more. Thank you. Delicious sushi.

With some TLC, this place has the ability to be great. But here are the glaring problems I saw:

This place took over the building from the old Osaka restaurant and it is very clear they didn't spend any time or money improving the parts that are in disrepair. The men's bathroom was in awful shape and smelled strongly of urine - is in dire need of renovation. There were booth seats with big tears. and overall just lack of care for the atmoshpere.

Another issue is that even though the interior is in need of renovation and in many ways feels run down, the prices are still as high as other AYCE sushi places we enjoy such as Akita and Juun. Meanwhile they have much nicer interiors - especially with Akita who has the coolest bathrooms ive ever seen.

One note I would like to leave in regards to the actual food is that although we enjoyed most of what we ate, your specialty sushi options could really use more flavor diversity. 9 of your 12 specialty rolls have spicy elements for example - it would be nice to see more creations that dont focus on spicy mayo. For one example i always enjoy rolls that have a touch of mango for a pop of flavor. Just overall is good to have many different flavor profiles for the specialty rolls. A lot of the specialty rolls seemed very similar. otherwise... food was great.

Lastly, the server, while she was very nice, forgot several items we asked for throughout the night and did not come around as much as she should (even though we were one of only 3-4 tables there so it wasn't even busy). I would expect more frequent checkins to ensure we have all we need.

We went for my son’s 30th birthday. We had a party of eight . Three of us wanted all you can eat sushi and the rest of us were going to order off the menu . We were told we all had to order it or we had to sit away from the people that were going to order all you can eat . We laughed and said we would sit one seat away from . We spent close to 250 dollars . There was 5 pieces of sushi left and they charged us for it . We have never been treated so poorly . The poor server had to take the heat why the coward manager sat in the corner . Definitely do not recommend!!!

I haven't written a review in years. But that's just how much I really want people to spend their money elsewhere. Only 1 order of sashimi per person, per session. 1 order is 3 pieces. What a rip-off of AYCE. I really wish I did more research before coming here. You see AYCE in their name, and you think they would honor it. I have never seen so much fine text on anyone's AYCE menu than this place. Their rules are 3/4 of the paper. Their rolls and nigiri have tons of rice and are extremely drenched in sauce. Their baked scallop roll had 10 pieces of scallop instead of being covered in it like other places. Please, go to AKITA instead. It's like $35 for AYCE, but sashimi is actually AYCE. I easily eat about $100 worth of sashimi at Akita. We had 1 appetizer, 4 rolls, 2 orders of nigiri, and 2 orders of sashimi. At the end of it all was 1 piece of 1 roll. An absurdly huge, badly cut end piece; just 1. And they told us they were gonna charge us for the entire roll. Seriously, at Akita, they'll let you get away with half of the entire roll for free. I regret not going to my regular spot, I spent $80 here. I feel like I disrespected my asian parents bt not getting more value out of my money. No hate on any of the staff. They did their job and followed store policy.
