The only thing that sucked about this place was the parking. Everything else about Kasai was great!

Don’t order teppanyaki if you sit at a dining table. The food is cooked in the back and it lacks flavor. You also don’t get the complementary shrimps, soup and salad that usually goes with regular teppanyaki. It’s all paid separate so the price ends up being higher than if you sat at the grill. Very disappointing.

We celebrated my daughter's birthday here and overall, it was great. We did have an issue with the manager, Denise as there was internal miscommunication and a mistake regarding our confirmed reservation for their private room. This was very upsetting because it was hours before our planned event. She was very rude, abrupt, and completely unprofessional over the phone and then again in person. At no point did she even attempt to provide any customer service to resolve the issue. A manager, Christina assisted with resolving the issue and she was very professional in doing so. Christina understood the miscommunication and made sure my daughter's birthday wasn't ruined due to their miscommunication. The service was great and so was the food with the exception of our steak being cooked last which caused our other food to be cold by the time it was done. I'm not sure if I'd give this place another try but it's only based on the lack of customer service from the one manager. I really hope they provide training as no manager should speak to their customers or behave aggressively the way Denise did.

Went here with the wife for a nice dinner. They have a small menu, limited options. How ever what we did order was so good. The steak options were responsibility priced. The special drinks were pretty good. Worth checking out.

Go to the Scottsdale location! So much better than Peoria. Peoria staff is incredibly unprofessional.

What a fantastic dinner spot.
We moved back to AZ after 15yrs away, and to the West Valley when we previously lived in the East Valley...so we are trying to find the best of the West. Kasai is not only the best Teppan in the West Valley, but ranked #2 of my all time favorite Teppan spots (and we have been to a TON of them all over the Country).
Our first visit happened to be on my birthday, and Kasai nailed it for me and my family.
Taylor is a shining star of a Waiter; he nailed it with concern and attention to my food allergies, had/got answers to all of our questions, was quick with service and all with a super friendly demeanor!
Diego was a fantastic chef. He cooked everything to perfection (my father-in-law said the scallops were the best he ever had, and lived Coastal for the last 9yrs), he was also fun and personable!
We will be back again and again!!! Thank you, Kasai, for a fantastic family birthday dinner!

I wasn't expecting a 5-star experience, as Hibachi can often be hit or miss. The food was spectacular. Everything was cooked to perfection, from the appetizers to the entrees and even the desserts. The staff was extremely friendly; Our chef, Maui, was the perfect blend of entertaining. but also wanted to cook the food well. He made our experience unforgettable. I'm excited to see how this place grows and flourishes in the Peoria area.
If you are ever looking for an entertaining night with solid food and drinks, go to Kasai and request Maui!

Restaurantji Recommends
Food was not good for my taste, the price is high for the amount of food you get, and they charge tip $10 per person. Would not recommend, and will not be going back, it is better to find a place where food is tasteful.

Kasai is always a great time! The food is consistently amazing—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The teppanyaki-style entertainment is so much fun and makes for a really memorable dining experience.
The only downside is that it can get pretty loud, especially if you're with a larger group. It’s sometimes hard to hear conversations across the table, which can be a bit frustrating when you're trying to catch up with friends or family.
That said, we keep coming back for the delicious food and lively atmosphere. Just be prepared for some noise—it's all part of the experience!

Took my wife for date night / birthday dinner . It was great food!!! Well prepared ! The service was 4 stars because our chef was amazing but the other servers could have been a lot better with our drinks . At the beginning when we were first seated , our sever was on top of everything then the restaurant got a little busier , the server was busy but drinks are very important part of the customer service .
The best part of our experience was our Teppanyaki chef , Gabriel . He was amazing !! Great personality !! Would go again and request for Gabriel !! Definitely will go again . Hire more servers please .
