LA Crab Shack (Peoria)

Ordered a fish and chips over the phone about 45 mins before they closed. Was told about 10-15min before it was ready. Showed up early. Upon opening the door the hostess immediately came to check on what I needed. She assured me my order would be ready soon. The hostess and another worker were very attentive during the wait making sure to come over to give me updates on my food. Food was hot, crispy, well seasoned, and delicious!!! Will bring my Ohana next time! Mahalo!

My sister had a Fish & chip basket that was so good she had us come to try it so she could have it again. I didn’t get a pic of some of the food but the Beer batter on this fish was very good!! The chicken tenders, fried shrimp and fried alligator also had the same or similar batters as the fish. The bags were pricey but pretty good..I would definitely come back for the fish&chip and the fried alligator!! The waitress was the best!! S/O to her!!

Tried this restaurant on Saturday. Really enjoyed my food. Ordered 2lb crab clusters 1lb headless shrimp potatoes eggs corn and sausage. Ordered a side of catfish, which pieces were a bit small. Ordered a side of sauce to go to dip the fish and boil in. I would recommend calling ahead as I had to wait close to 45 minutes for my food. The moment I walked out about to cancel my order through the bank, the lady came running out with my food. I felt the team there intentionally held my food and made me wait. 6 Hot wings had a unique flavor and were great. Picture of remaining 3 ? Someone who spends $85.85 at your establishment I will go somewhere else due to your rude staff.

Asked if it was possible for the 4 pound deal to separate the pounds into different flavors - was told no. At 55 dollars a pound I cannot help but think they could've separated the pounds into different flavors and just put the sides in the flavor of the customer's choosingbut it appeared to be too much work. We went to Angry Crab where they were very happy to accommodate the spending on my $430 family night out! Angry Crab team was friendly and again accommodating.

We’ve been going here on and off since they opened. Today was our last! New management is a joke. Seafood was not fresh! Smells likes sewage and trash in there. Our server or possibly manager was rude when telling her some of the oysters were bad and rotten. She proceeded to get closer to my wife getting louder and louder. The Asian women almost got knocked out and getting that close, her clam smells as well!!! Don’t go!

The food is good, the atmosphere is good and the service is impeccable. Thank you for a better place to eat than Angry crab, they are over priced!

They are short of help, the menue was not the same it was missing alot of food items that we were use to .

First of all smells like sewage, food not so tasty like any other seafood restaurants. Shrimp was definitely not fresh. The server forgot to get me the dessert that came with food combo and didn't even ask me for it. My daughter loves crab and we went there for her birthday but she ran out of the restaurant because it smelled so bad. Angry crab shack or hot and juicy are much better place. Sorry didn't even feel like taking a photo.
