This was one of the best experiences I've had in a long time. The food came out so fast I forgot to take pictures! The servings were huge - I couldn't finish everything even if I tried! It was all delicious and the host was one of the most gracious and hard working men I've seen in a long time. I came back only a few days later with another person. I will be going here time and time again.

Mercer's is in a strip mall near 99th Avenue and Peoria. The interior is open and clean, but it has a definite 80's diner style and vibe. Wait staff are friendly and efficient. Food is delivered to your table very quickly. Portions are large, and the quality and taste are excellent. My husband enjoyed his pancakes (they're really big) and I totally enjoyed the mushroom and rice soup (and at $4.99 a bowl is a bargain). I would recommend Mercer's for a good meal at a good price.

i would give this place a zero if i could, i dont know what has happened to this once good decent place to eat, we stopped eating here over a year ago because of the poor service, there was only one good server then!!! We stopped by to grab a peace of carrot cake to go, had to wait 5 min or more to even be helped at pay counter, i order and she goes oh wait a minute and starts taking money from people that showed up after me, rude disrespectful and very un profesional and to top that there standing talking about nothing todo with business 3 of them, so this is leadership and management, they suck the owner sucks and so does the business very sad

Good comfort food. Close to home. Very attentive staff.
The biscuit and gravy dish was really good because of the sausage gravy. My omelet was overcooked and the home fries were very plain (could have used some garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper). Pancakes were good.
