This was one of the best experiences I've had in a long time. The food came out so fast I forgot to take pictures! The servings were huge - I couldn't finish everything even if I tried! It was all delicious and the host was one of the most gracious and hard working men I've seen in a long time. I came back only a few days later with another person. I will be going here time and time again.
Mercer's is in a strip mall near 99th Avenue and Peoria. The interior is open and clean, but it has a definite 80's diner style and vibe. Wait staff are friendly and efficient. Food is delivered to your table very quickly. Portions are large, and the quality and taste are excellent. The biscuit and gravy dish was really good because of the sausage gravy. My omelet was overcooked and the home fries were very plain (could have used some garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper). Pancakes were good.
