I'm honestly not a huge fan of this coffee shop. I don't like the taste of their coffee and definitely prefer other coffee shops. The service here is very good however. I do like the ambience of this location as they have garage doors that open for that alfresco type of feeling.

Felt like we were bothering the employees by even being there. The barista didn’t even acknowledge us. She looked angry that she even had to make drinks for us and burned our drinks. She called out my drink and when I said “Thank you” she didn’t look at me or say anything. She looks like she hates being there. A simple smile goes a long way - specially when you are in the customer service business.

Over priced and never worth it. I love supporting small, especially coffee shops. The premium cost is always worth it to me, but not here!Every time I go it seems like they’re out of everything but a house coffee or a muffin. Sometimes not even that. Morning or afternoon doesn’t matter evidently. I’ve tried ordering food to be told they don’t have any; a specialty drink item? they don’t have that either. But they’ll make something similar. While that’s fine if it’s a few and far between experience but that’s not been the case for me. It’s not as if I’m going ten minutes to close, why are they out of everything? When they’ve been out of coffee, the barista responds in a way that suggests “I’m not about to brew more just for your one cup” slyly - sorry guys, but that is seriously your main job….??? Brew the coffee and sell it.Went with a friend once and she ordered a drink and paid to add a shot of espresso. When she got her drink they said they didn’t put it in, so she asked for them to do it and then they charged her AGAIN for the shot she already paid for! It was hardly worth the price to begin with, but for that to happen is even after her saying so is absurd. Receipt and all, they didn’t care.I was hopeful for NW each time I’ve been in but time and again it’s not worth it! Hope other experiences are not like any of mine.

Staff not so friendly. Seem annoyed. Remember you work in customer service please . This is not the first time experiencing it either. Maybe there is a reason positive reviews stopped in 2022 ?

The coffee was just ok, but they had a good English muffin breakfast sandwich and the service was friendly. I'd come back just for the breakfast sandwich.

Been here several times & the staff are never friendly. They don't seem to appreciate the business so I won't give them any. The drinks are nothing to rave about. It's unfortunate since this is the only coffee shop in the area.

Seasonal drinks, menu person or custom coffee connoisseur?! Which one are you? Well it doesn't really matter when you visit NW Coffee because they offer it all. I did pop into NW Coffee to try their seasonal menu though because it was just too cute not to try. And discovered Strawberry coldfoam is a thing... and SHOULD be The Thing! It's sweet, fruity and PINK! As a Vistancia resident, it's so lovely having a spot like this close to home. Truly. It has great coworking space, fast service and wifi and just a chill vibe. Whether you live in North Peoria or not, it's worth the little trek off Loop 303 and Happy Valley to try! Their breakfast sandwiches are pretty tasty too but truly a fan and frequent orderer of their PB acai bowl!

I’ll start off with I’m a big fan of this place, but they are painfully slow when food is involved. I’m talking 30+ minute waits for any kind of kitchen item that’s not a muffin or bagel. And it doesn’t seem to matter when we come. I get weekend mornings are busy, but one guy in the back isn’t enough when your ticket times on a smoothie bowl or sandwich are 30 minutes…Food is always great, but don’t plan on this being a grab and go unless you order ahead or just get a drink.

I love this place! My go-tos are the lattes, smoothies and breakfast foods. Açaí bowls and burrito and breakfast sandwiches are all amazing!! Great neighborhood gem!

We’ve tried this coffee shop several times and they are always out of certain items. The last two times we went the coffees were super watered down. Baristas are nice though!
