The sushi pieces are cut far too big to be enjoyable. The rice is also too wet and mushy. It's probably the worst sushi I've had. Even the grocery store sushi is better. The rice is exactly as described, and the pieces are massive. Many of the items tasted like frozen food. JUNN IN Tempe is a better option.

Our cook didn't interact with us at all she hardly spoke. Our food was very salty and the scallops tasted sour. We didn't even get the sauce that his with the food. We asked for water several times and never got any. Our bill was expensive too.

My friend and I came here for the first time last night and we were not disappointed! The all-you-can-eat menu was full of delicious options, the portions were huge, and the fish was so fresh. Our server was in training but she was so amazing! Will definitely be making this restaurant my new go-to!

It’s change from Osaka to another name! However their food is still delicious. We stopped by for their All you can eat sushi and I wasn’t disappointed with the quality or the price! It’s a must check out spot.

In the past, we came several times when it was Osaka P83. Always loved the calm atmosphere, quick service, delicious food and yum yum sauce.Overall, prices are as expected for teppanyaki. Waitress was polite, fast, and thorough. The restaurant wasn’t too busy and we were sat right away. We will go back one more time as long as we have a different Chef. The food was terrible, decent personality and social skills.Aside from the career speech of being a 17 year chef switching from location to location more times than anyone can count, his personality was good. He was educational and creative. The food however, was awful and by far the worst we ever had there. We appreciated the fact he covered the rice to keep it warm while everything else cooked. But he over cooked EVERYTHING. Rice tasted more like rice cakes, vegetables were burnt, chicken was so over cooked it tasted like char, and every steak was well done. Not a single note of pink in the medium rare. The chicken was so burnt and over done it. If I didn’t know better you would have thought it was residue from the grill put on the plate. At the end, James explained how he does private events. After someone asked for a card he said, “glad you asked, I have to wait for you to ask to hand them out now”. On the card was his tipping information and name/photo.We were extremely disappointed in the food quality during this trip. The three stars come from the average of our experience at this restaurant.

I'm in the business and spotted several critical violations committed by our "chef". At the end of the "show" he handed out his card which includes his contact information for private parties. If I was the owner I would be furious one of my employees was advertising for his private business at work! In addition, the business card has this guys Venmo, CashApp, and Zelle on it. He also had a couple $20s in his tip jar for show, to encourage tips. When we got our bill, there was gratuity included on the bill. And another place to add even more gratuity, even though it was included in the bill. The "chef" also advertised he had been cooking for 17 years at over 50 restaurants in Arizona. That's not something you want to advertise. That's a pretty poor employment record. In addition, the dude was cracking racist jokes regarding American and Chinese. The food was ok. I can make better fried rice at home. The entire "show" was cheesy and tasteless. Next time we want teppanyaki, we will travel to Scottsdale. It definitely wasn't worth $95 for two people.

Osaka p83 is no longer. It is now called Hanna Tokyo and it's an all you can eat sushi bar with teppenyaki. We went for my daughters birthday because Osaka has always been our favorite hibachi place for celebrations. I made reservations for 4pm and they called me at 410 to see if we were coming and we had just pulled in (they have a 15 min grace period for being late). Keep in mind we made this reservation time because in the past this time is less busy and overstimilating and usually quicker for my autistic daughter. They sat us right away. Our waitress came and got our drink orders quickly and then we waited. It took probably 5 minutes to get drinks while being the only people in the restaurant. Then she came back and said are you guys ready to order or do you need more time. I said we were ready and she said I'll be right back. We waited for 10 min till my husband went and got her. At that point she said oh I thought you needed more time. She took our orders and left. This is where everything became so different from Osaka. We waited close to 30 min before we got our soups and our salads. While we waited at the table closest to the kitchen for our chef to come cook our food we sat and listened to all the waitreses in the restaurant laugh and talk and goof off in the kitchen while we waited. I got just angry enough to get up and go talk to them when our chef finally came out to cook our food. He started out with typical fire and a pretty off color joke which threw me but I didn't want to let that ruin my dinner. It's at this point things just went really really far away from hibachi. He goes on to tell us about his work life and he's been doing this for 17 years he was a manager here and there and a grill master blah blah blah and he's going on and on while he's telling us how he likes his fried rice and he uses a pepper blend and sprinkles it on and he likes his rice crispy so he's gonna cook it like they do hash browns. He cooked our rice in multiple ways over 10 min. He makes a homemade garlic butter he puts on everything and the 3 pepper blend. Those two things is how he seasoned the veggies, the rice and the steak. He also made chicorones out of the fat from the steak to put on our rice. Once he finally gave us our rice it was so crispy it was hard to eat. I didn't end up even eating mine. My husband drowned his in the yum yum sauce cause he had to make it softer. The steak and shrimp were cooked like I'm not even sure, it was a mess. Then at the end of his show he hands us a little slip of paper with his venmo and cashapp so we can tip him or we can tip him in cash. I about fell over and thought what in the actual F. I didn't send him a tip if anyone is wondering. I thought that was so off. All in all the experience went from a solid 10 with Osaka to a 3 for Hanna Tokyo. It honestly was just a terrible experience. Oh I do have to mention we did order sushi and that was good. Not Osaka level but it's good. I would go back for sushi and I might try them for hibachi again but just request not to have that guy.

The first time I went I got sushi, chicken fried rice, and ramen. I didn’t enjoy the ramen because the noodles were mostly congealed together. I liked the other food so I figured I’d go back a second time. The second time I ordered pork fried rice, kimchi cheese fries, and sushi. The caterpillar roll was fine. The other 2 dishes turned my stomach. The pork they use in the fried rice I found gross. The kimchi cheese fries were also gross. I get not everything on the menu is going to appeal but if I’m dropping $45 on a meal for just myself 2/3 dishes being inedible just isn’t worth it. The server was a sweet heart, attentive, and the only reason I left a 25% tip. I won’t be back again.

Very disappointing to find out they no longer serve teppanyaki in the regular dinning room you HAVE to eat in the back to order it ..they’re supposedly going through a name change . But the service was horrible servers only seem to attend the back. (Eating in the back means double tip cook/waitress)

Was sad they changed the rules so that you cant order teppanyaki style meals in the normal dining area. Probably wont come back much at all cause of that. The normal menu isnt that exciting for me
