5.01.24 Third visit review: Lunch today with friends and I was EXTREMELY disappointed with my food. Server was great, food was cold and bland. I ordered what I had last visit (2nd time there), Turkey Pesto Wrap, includes a very small salad. As I said, I ordered this last time and was very happy with the wrap, so was looking forward to the same. Guess I'll try something else next time??First time at Pita Jungle, and I was so impressed, with the food, staff - EVERYTHING!!! Not only was the Grilled Chicken Pita I ordered YUMMY, but all orders coming out looked SO good, I was listing in my head all my future orders!!

I have been on the Mediterranean diet since January 1, and I often look for different med/greek restaurants when I don't feel like cooking that day. I heard about Pita Jungle and finally decided to try it. I was disappointed to say the least. I had the grilled chicken bowl and tzatziki. The presentation of the bowl was not as expected and the tzatziki was very watery. I feel like the bowl was just thrown together. I really just ate the chicken because the turmeric rice it came with was very hard, and the sumac didn't taste like sumac. As someone who has been eating this type of food for going on 4 months, I definitely won't be including Pita Jungle in my list of options. It's mediocre "Mediterranean" food with no flavor.

We were lucky enough to be seated by the kitchen and next to the sloppy server station. Our server was good at first then after we ordered avoided us....got together with other servers in front of the kitchen and were incredibly loud and obnoxious. I turned around and saw our food waiting.....and waiting and waiting. It took 15 minutes to get to our table...and yes, that was our food waiting while they all laughed and talked loudly. Food was not spectacular. My elderly mom loved going there and she told me she doesn't ever have to go back. This was on 3/17 around noon.I don't think yoga pants are a good choice to work at a restaurant in.
