First time enjoying an amazing dinner at this restaurant. Shortly before we arrived, the restaurant lost all power briefly and their internet went down for a bit (guessing due to the huge thunder and lightning storm in the area). Immediately their staff went into action to make plans how to handle the situation and keep guests informed. The management staff came to our table numerous times to check on us and make sure our dining experience was optimal. Food arrived faster than what we expected due to their system having gone down, and the food did not disappoint. Highly recommend the half chicken.
We will definitely be back and we were incredibly impressed with the attentiveness of staff to our table and every table in the restaurant. Five stars!

Visited for a girls lunch yesterday and couldn’t have asked for more. Quality food with amazing flavors! We loved every dish (carrots, crab dip, tuna tartar, wedge salad, panna cotta). The decor is nice with a chill atmosphere. Great service. We cannot wait for our next visit.

Food took hella long. When it finally came, it was pretty mid for the price. Will not revisit.

I really wanted this place to be great as we don’t have many local restaurants in this area.

The vibe and atmosphere was great and the servers and hostess were amazing.

The food however was just ok. Nothing special about it. And the prices are ridiculously high. I really wanted just a little bread and butter with my dinner and it’s $16. That’s right….$16 for bread!!! When I’m paying $78 for my plate of dinner I expect bread. Flemings, Morton’s, Mastro’s, etc all serve bread with their dinners. And Sparrow is no where near the class of any of those restaurants.

I’d love to say that I’d go back for happy hour because the bar vibe is cool but they don’t have a good happy hour menu either.

Oh and the maître D, owner, manager or whoever she was going around each table to check on them was wearing “bootie” shorts and Stiletto high heels. Pretty classless and Inappropriate especially when they’re charging the exorbitant prices.

For the same prices, bourbon and bones across the street is better.

A group of us went to the new Sparrow in North Peoria, despite seeing mixed reviews, unfortunately the experience was exactly that, mixed in the worst way. The moment we walked in, the EDM music was insanely loud, more like entering a nightclub than a restaurant, making it impossible to enjoy conversation. Sparrow will miss three decades of customers who aren’t looking for a club vibe when trying to have dinner together. While the hostesses upon arrival were courteous, the food was disaster. It took over 45 minutes, our server wasn’t helpful whatsoever when the food didn’t arrive in a normal time frame. Took it to go. Once we got home, we discovered the $32 Prime Dip Sandwich had extremely poor-quality meat and barely any of it. The fries were greasy, cold, and over-fried. The “wedge salad” was disappointing, oddly cut lettuce and a few tiny burnt bacon pieces. Management offered ZERO apology and was instead defensive. The table across from us was complaining as well. All of us left disappointed, which is especially unfortunate since North Peoria (85383) doesn’t have many semi-decent restaurants to choose from. Will continue to dine in Scottsdale.

Surprised at all the great reviews. Both us and the table next to us had issues (we did not know them). Food service was incredibly slow. Ordered lobster and it was watery and not opened for us and they forgot to bring a shell cracking tool (which I don’t want to sit there and have to deal with at a fine dining restaurant anyhow). There was hardly any meat in it and we ordered it chilled and they served it with hot clarified butter. Kind of weird.

They also forgot a steak knife for our steaks. Prices are really exorbitant for the quality, would rather go to Bourbon and Bones across the street for a better steak for the same price range.

Cocktails were great and the mashed potatoes that came with the steaks were amazing, but everything else was pretty subpar. They knew they messed up on the lobster and offered a free dessert to make up for it, but would’ve rather the lobster just be taken off the bill.

Likely won’t be going back. It was our anniversary dinner and we just expected a bit more for a $250 bill.

Great atmosphere. Sat at the bar and it was hard to get service on a weeknight at 5:30 p.m.

Amazing local spot.

My wife and I live nearby but happened upon this place accidentally for her 33rd birthday. Place was poppin’ on a Wednesday night.

Bae seating was cozy, Chris and Mike are clearly top notch professionals in the service industry. This goes for just about everyone we encountered from the host/hostess, food runners, other servers, everyone was spot on.

I used to work at multiple restaurants in Martha’s Vineyard and a Scottsdale private club. This staff competes with the best.

Oh, and the food, unreal. So so good and fresh and smooth and not delayed even with a busy night.

We will return. Thanks guys!!

Phenomenal food and ambiance. Our server Sydney was fantastic. We had the swordfish, fish and chips and the prime rib dip. All we're outstanding. If you're in the area I highly recommend dropping by, you won't be disappointed.

Not good food quality. Got the chicken sandwich and felt terrible a few hours later. Very salty. Service is excellent.

Great atmosphere, food was just okay

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and decor such a beautiful place to sit and relax. The food, however, was just okay for me. The meatballs were very well done, and I didn’t care for the char on the filet mignons. The French dip was also just average. Overall, amazing vibe but the dishes didn’t quite meet my expectations.
