I came to this location after not visiting Starbucks for at least 6 months for various reasons, like their new water policy, all of their recipes changing, and just recently them laying off over 2000 employees with no real notice to a lot of them. Still apprehensive I ordered a matcha latte & asked Ivan the cashier at the time what changed about the drink so I could make it to my liking. He said it comes unsweetened in an uninterested tone I should’ve walked away but I regretfully continued to order. I received my drink from the bully barista who made it Haley. I took a sip and realized the two pumps of vanilla was not added I came back let them know and asked for a remake, Ivan with an attitude said “well what do you want?” I said I would prefer a refund at this point to which he responded “well it’s gonna be a long time to get a refund because we don’t have a manager around.” I stared at him blankly & then he asked again “so what do you want??” & I said a refund. Haley then jumped in to say “we can just make you something else” I requested a shaken espresso which was also gross & the beans taste bitter & burnt. At this point I did not want to cause any issues so I said “have a great day” to them both and went to the straw counter with my gross drink to which Haley turned her head and rolled her eyes to which I said “wow not going to say anything? I didn’t do anything wrong..” in a dumbfounded & confused tone as I only asked them to remake a drink which is their policy. Haley responded “we didn’t do anything to you either” not once in this entire interaction was I rude, loud, or disrespectful to them I just expressed I did not like my drink. I then proceeded to ask for a manager again & Haley blurted out “we aren’t doing this!” and took off her apron, I was scared she was going to come over the counter & harm me by how she was acting. I moved far from the counter fearing for my safety before a target manager arrived. I had a wonderful conversation with her, she sided with me & said I needed to share my interaction with the district manager Elizabeth. I am extremely turned off by Starbucks after years of being a loyal customer. I understand as a company they are going through a hard time and making lots of changing but why as a customer do I have to be scared to ask for a remake? I came in again a few days ago to see if it was all employees, Haley was there out of dress code, maybe not even clocked in behind the counter and when she seen me she ran to the target restrooms. I was helped by another very kind girl and requested the exact same matcha recipe as before, it was sweet and very good maybe because it wasn’t made with anger & attitude but I won’t be back and I would warn others not to visit either.

I walk into target at 7:28pm and online it says it closes at 8pm. So I went in all exited to get my drink and the employee told me they were closed. But I say it closes at 8pm and she say Nop and she continues cleaning. Please make sure it change the time online so we don’t get confused.
Terrible service! Wrote to corporate about concerns. Rude staff, leadership needs to be fired!

yes I recommend starbucks because for the most part it's wonderful. however, I order the same thing every day and I have had the last three days not what I ordered fully. I ask for and pay for extra splash of sweet cream and then not just cinnamon but I ask for extra and I don't even get a dash or punch of it at all. but then today there is Camel sauce in the cup and then drizzled on top. I don't have anything Carmel in my order at all. i order a venti iced americano with blonde espresso, extra sweet cream cold foam with an extra splash of sweet cream and extra cinnamon. Carmel is nowhere to be found in the order and then the word Extra is there but ignored. insert ingredients and ignore what is wanted. this happens more often than not at every location throughout the valley I go to. but the one on 83rd Ave and thunderbird is right by my house and I stop there on my way to work in the morning so I don't have a lot of time to sit for another 15-20 minutes for a new or fixed drink when I have sat there already for 15-20 minutes. I have gone to Dutch a few times and found a favorite there, I can just switch to them or even dunkin donuts is way cheaper and I've never had an issue with my drink made incorrectly when I went to them before. pay attention people. I've let it go on for too long and way to many times.
They were out of just about everything I tried to order. They asked if I wanted my muffin hot, told them yes, they acknowledge it, but when I got it, it was refrigerator cold
What's in a Drive-Thru if I get to the window and realized I forgot my wallet at home the lady was so nice she went ahead and gave me a coffee anyway the very next day I wouldn't get that certain someone $10 tip thank you again Starbucks we're coming through when I needed you the most

Store does a great job. Store was remodeled within the last year. I like having the Albertson"s app as they sometimes have Starbucks coupon I can load thru the app and get a few bucks off drinks and other purchases @ Starbucks.
My family comes here every other Saturday and the drive thru is always fast and accurate. They are very friendly and have never given any grief when we ask for ice water with our order on the hot Phoenix summers either. They always remind me of new events that's Starbucks has space I can maximize my points on the App.
