I was in the area running around doing some errands and saw this sushi location and decided to stop by for a late lunch. Located in an older parking lot it is pretty unassuming from the outside. Once inside however it's nicer than you'd think. The location is small, but does hold a good amount of seating. When I walked in I stood for a few minutes unsure what to do until a man directed me to sit wherever I'd like once I told him I wanted to dine in . He seemed to be the only person working that I could see besides the sushi chef. It was semi busy for being later in the day. He brought me a menu and let me know he'd be back to get my order. It took quite a while before he returned, but once he did I had my drink and appetizer quickly as well as complimentary miso soup. My sushi roll, the Spicy Girl came out shortly after. I ordered garlic edamame as well. While it was good I wish id ordered the spicy edamame to give it more kick. The roll was small for the price, but pretty good. All in all I don't feel it's a place id drive out of my way to try again, but would possibly stop in if I'm the are. Service was pretty slow, but friendly.

Awesome sushi! Family ran business that put a lot of love into their food. Came here for lunch, and plan on coming back for dinner. Miso was flavorful. The prices were fair and the offerings were well portioned and tasty.Highly recommend.

I went here with my family, and every single one of us agreed that it was one of the best meals we have ever had. Food quality is through the roof, and almost unbeatable at the price that you pay. Service was perfect, our waitress (Abi) was a complete and total sweetheart. She was extremely knowledgeable about the entire menu, answering any and all questions my family and I had, and brought out food out extremely fast. Constantly checking up on us, chatting and laughing with us, all while refilling drinks and explaining dishes and sauces to us. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone who will listen, I will be back! Thank you to Abi for a wonderful dining experience!!!

Went on Wednesday around 6 and Christina one of the owners was awesome serving us. The food was one of the better Japanese tasting food in town. My Wife had the sushi and I had the chicken teriyaki and noodles. The bomb. I asked for some spicy sauce and Christina made me a personal mix she makes and it was great! I definitely recommend this place.

Tuna sashimi - extremely fresh Short Rib dinner - 10/10 meat was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, mixed veggies were full of flavor. Extra spicy garlic edamame - very spicy and tasty Customer service - lady I believe is the owner was super friendly and kind.

This is a great hidden spot! I had some of the best sushi and service. The waiter explained the dishes beautifully and even gave me some tea to take home since I enjoyed it! It is truly a great dining experience and very authentic.

Amazing little spot, such a hidden gem! I loved everything about this place, the waitress was super nice, informative, and very attentive. The vibe felt very authentic and I felt like I had been transported out of Arizona. Can't wait to come back!
Alright let me just start with this. From the moment my girlfriend and I walked into the restaurant I felt a peaceful vibe. Everything from the light jazz music playing to the ambience and atmosphere the place just feels serene. Now the food. OH MY GAWD..... The food taste like home cooked meal. I can taste the love and affection that they put into the food. Overall I love it here.

Waitress was very friendly. Inside was clean but our table was sticky. Miso was good although slightly salty. My meal of choice to evaluate Japanese restaurants is always sashimi/sushi more specifically chirashi. Is it fresh, authentic and worth the cost? I can’t tell you how disappointed we were in the meager portions and VERY high price. My chirashi bowl had 12 tiny pieces of fish each about the size of a tiny eraser for $22! You do the math. Also, 2 pieces of fake crab stick were tossed in. I’ve never had fake crab in a chirashi bowl before and I can’t remember paying that much for chirashi in a mom and pop type of joint. Other than rice to fill up the bowl, there were no other items added in. No seaweed salad, no miso salad, no daikon, nada. A fair price might be $12 but absolutely not $22. My wife’s bento box was equally disappointing and similarly stingy. I won’t be back and hopefully you are not misled by all the high reviews which sucked us in.

Solid place for lunch. Bento boxes and sushi combos. My mom was impressed but bummed they were closed on Mondays when she tried to take her husband for lunch. The shrimp tempura and veggies were great. My sushi combo was good. The bentos are large and plentiful. We were one of two tables in the house. Cute dining room and nice server.

They don't answer their phone to place an order for pickup. So I drive there to see if they are open. They are open. I ask if their phone is down. No, they say they are too busy to answer the phone. WTH? Then they say that it'll be an hour wait for a to go order. Not a way to treat customers.
