Tiki star Reviews
I had the Salmon and my son had the Ahi. We split them and they was both awesome. The rice was fantastic and the deserts were among the best. We did wish the portions were larger
What a great find. Not 100% typical Tiki that's okay The food &drinks made up for this brand new place which is only going to grow in the decor will evolve. I would recommend this as the number one stop when you're in this area to have a great Tiki drinking great food. Not just great food awesome food. Probably the best coconut shrimp I've had since Trader Vic's In London!

Tiki Star, a Hawaiian restaurant in Peoria at Park West, offers a fun and unique dining experience with a colorful tiki-themed atmosphere. The service is friendly and attentive, making guests feel welcome. The menu features a mix of Polynesian and Asian dishes, including the popular ahi tacos with tangy and spicy salsa, loco moco fries, pork mac and cheese, and coconut shrimp. The food is delicious, and the Salmon and ahi dishes receive praise. The drink menu is impressive, with photos showing what each cocktail looks like, and the specialty drinks are strong and tasty. The drinks, such as Halo Halo, Bangarang, Cobra's Fang, and Pain Killer, are well-presented and flavorful without watered-down ice juice. The desserts are highly recommended and among the best. The lively ambiance is decorated with art and decor matching the tiki theme, complemented by island/reggae music that enhances the island vibe. The restaurant avoids loud pop or rap music and has no flatscreen TVs playing sports, maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy large free parking lots, and the place is accessible with flat sidewalks and no stairs. Kids are welcome, with a kids menu available. The place is known for its clean environment and friendly staff, making it a great spot for enjoying good drinks, tasty food, and a lively atmosphere. While some dishes may be a bit pricey and portions small, many find the experience enjoyable and worth returning for. Overall, Tiki Star is a fun and tasty place to relax and indulge in Polynesian favorites.
