Great place for pizza, grinders, antipasto salad, steak and cheese sandwiches, beer and wine. Unfortunate they don't have any liquor. Good atmosphere, cross between your local bar, sports bar and back east neighborhood bar.

Had not been there in several years. Truly sad how they have fallen.. i should have known when we showed up there in the restaurant was empty. We said something to the waitress and she blamed it on other restaurants opening in the neighborhood I can definitely say that's not the reason.. salad was a bowl of lettuce with one tomato slice. Mushrooms were very greasy sandwich was good, but mostly lettuce. Chairs were sat on top of the table. 1.hour before closing. The AC was clearly turned off 1.hour before closing.. dinner for 3 was still a $100 a little high for sandwiches Then they played the most annoying song that could ever be heard clearly to get us to leave When I commented to the waitress, the staff decided to double down and play it again as one of the kitchen staff was laughing at me & dancing in front of the doorway.. Super disrespectful I seriously considered leaving the food on the table and just walking out without PAYING.. i'm 50 years old and have never done that before. But the experience was that bad. I think it goes without saying I will never return..
Wow! Talk about DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH! This place not only have the largest Philly i have ever had, it was incredible tender meat on bread that I wouldnslap my momma for the recipe for. I have only eaten takeout, but will ABSOLUTELY, come back for some drinks and sandwiches! Had the Italian sandwhich also and it did not disappoint at all. If you have a moderate appetite like me, get the 1/4 Sammy. They are massive!

Kudos to Lexi D. today as our waitress. She was excellent and refilled our drinks, gave us just the right amount of time to look at the menu, and was extremely friendly. My dad had the cheesy fries, fried mushrooms, and fried zucchini, mom had the mushrooms and zucchini, and I had zucchini and onion rings... Very, very good. A bit expensive, but we had plenty to take home for dinner too. We sat right under the speaker, and the music was a bit loud at first, but either they turned it down, or we got used to it, but it seemed quieter while we ate. The food received rave reviews from my parents who were thrilled that the mushrooms were left whole instead of sliced and then cooked. The food was brought out hot and crispy with plenty of ranch dressing. If all the food is this good, I am going to come back and get one of the sandwiches. They had sandwiches, grinders, and salads, as well as pizza, calzones, and other pizza stuff. Mom gave it the stamp of approval and said they had a very nice selection. We will definitely be back, and next time I will get a sandwich and the zucchini... and make sure I sit in Lexi's area.
