The service was terrible...she was very slow. She forgot we'd asked for refills on our sodas, forgot we'd asked for mustard, forgot we'd asked for extra napkins.... The calzone, the stromboli, and the vegetarian grinder were all really great!
Hadn't been in years and was really excited to go back. I had a cheese steak and I just thought it was salty and just not very good, I guess my memory is better than the actual sandwich.
Uncle Sam’s is a great family owned restaurant. I feel very welcome every time I walk through the door! I consider it Arizona’s version of Cheers. When I mention I am going to Uncle Sam’s to friends and co-workers, they immediately respond with “I love their Grinders”. “They have the best pizza!” “Their wings are the best!” Everybody has their favorite dish. I love their salads and wings.
