The customer service wasn’t that great, but the food was really good! It took the server a long time for us to receive our drinks. After the food was delivered, he never came back to check on us after that. It seems like the tables around us had better service than what we received, which was a huge disappointment because even though the food and atmosphere were great, I wouldn't come back.

Today was family night out. My son suggested Yama, when we got there we were seated right away, our server took our drink selection then our food. After taking our orders the server never check back with our table we had to ask a couple of times for extra ginger before he delivered to the table. I’m a great believer in people will come back for bad food but great service but please won’t come back with bad service great food. The food was delicious but our server needs to be more tentative to tables probably won’t be coming back but it’s a shame we finally found a good sushi place which we love as a family.

I'm from California and have not had good baked mussles while living here in arizona.. these definitely are my new go too!! The baked lobster sushi roll is also delicious ? The rolls are greatly priced for the portion you get. Definitely would recommend. ?

One of the few places in Arizona where you can get a real Gyudon bowl. They are even ready with the togarashi pepper on the side. Great service and reasonable prices; Love this place.
