Hasn't been the same since the previous owners sold. All the service staff that had been there for years are gone. I waited in a booth for 15 minutes and never got a hello let alone a glass of water and silverware. Tried to flag down a server but finally just got up and left and haven't been back...

From the moment you walk in the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. This feeling is then met with the polite and caring staff who take your order and make recommendations based on what you are looking to eat. The prices are very reasonable and the cook delivers with excellent flavor! This place will not disappoint! Spoil yourself and Get the cappuccino coffee because it is delicious! Highly recommend for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Coffee was badly burnt, probably spent a couple hours on the warmer.

The burger was cooked very, very well done, but it was cold (could not melt the cheese). Areas of the Bun was also burnt. I could only manage to eat 2 bites. On the upside they did not charge me for the burger.

The service was very good!

I loved the quiet elegance of this restaurant.

Delicious food! I can get breakfast, lunch dinner. I like that they have comida mexicana here. They play nice instrumental jazz music, there’s artwork on the walls from local artists and even a shop inside the restaurant from local business owners. Great calm vibe— not dark like some places. Makes me feel at home!

Great food, reasonable prices, good service.

Would not return because portions were too small for the prices. Would return for the nostalgic atmosphere.

Stopped in for breakfast on a weekday.

Old school vibe with a handful of regulars. Booths and tables seemed to be as old as Phoenix itself. Elevator jazz on repeat. Friendly and attentive service.

Ordered a Denver omelet. Food was acceptable for diner fare, but portions were small for the relatively steep prices.

Over priced small portions and scrappy service

Great little cafe with lots of booths inside and a friendly waitstaff.
Drinks are quite expensive here but the food is well-priced.

Small town atmosphere in the heart of Phoenix. Service could have been more attentive, but the food was hot and delicious. Cafe was clean and cozy.

This is ye old diner. Walked in early on a sunday and it was busy with folks grabbing breakfast. They have wifi but don't let customers use it so I had to relocate to another spot.

We were staying at the Hyatt downtown and this place had great reviews so we ordered delivery. It was not good at all. The steak was mostly all fat, the breakfast burritos was really dry and the hash browns were burnt. They were flipped in the to go container like we wouldn’t notice.

Absolutely love this spot! I've visited twice, and the Chilaquiles quickly became my go-to. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are super satisfying. My first visit was in the morning, and the live music made it feel extra special. The second time was around lunchtime, and the vibe was just as good. Big shoutout to the staff—thank you for the awesome service! The only thing I’d improve is the parking, but hey, that’s not on them.
