A hidden gem! Truly one the best sushi spots in the area. So glad we came here. Definitely will come again. Highly recommend!

First time here and was impressed. The sashimi was very fresh and well prepared. The shrimp ceviche was outstanding and so was the hamachi. The drinks were well balanced and paired well with all the dishes. Overall very nice dinner and service as outstanding.

Wonderful evening. The atmosphere is tranquil, pleasant, and comfortable. We enjoyed the cocktail menu, different and worthy of the price. We did however think the wine choices were a bit limited. We ordered three things to share. The shrimp ceviche was large and good, just not our favorite lacking that pop of flavor . The Karai Hamachi was outstanding and the Ponzu sauce was special and a perfect pairing with the hamachi. The lobster salad yellow tail roll was delicious. We felt the three items were adequate for us to share and seemed to be just the right amount of food. However, we weren't over hungry. It was a nice evening and we will be back. It won't be our go to Sushi joint but it will be a special Sushi restaurant for us.

Staff wasn't rude but wasn't very friendly; food took a while to come out - we could see food sitting there waiting to be served for at least 5-10 minutes at times. I think if they had 1-2 more servers that would help with the speed of service. We came to celebrate a birthday and even though they don't have desserts on the menu, they gave us a free dessert from the sister restaurant, Clever Koi.

The food was decent but it took 20 minutes per dish to come out even though they were only nigiris. The cocktails were pretty good too. My only complaint is the food took way too long to come out, the server mixed up our order, and also we had a problem with our receipt too.

Joseph and I celebrated our anniversary with an incredible dinner at Across the Pond. The atmosphere was quiet, intimate, and effortlessly sexy, setting the perfect tone for the evening. The dim lighting and beautiful decor created an amazing vibe, making every moment feel special. The food was nothing short of exceptional each dish was crafted to perfection, leaving us eager to return. It was the perfect place to celebrate, and we'll definitely be back for another unforgettable experience.

The experience was positive, food quality was excellent. Service was good, a bit slow. They offer two types of wasabi, one is traditional and the other is Kizami. I wish they told us up front that they charge $2.00 for kizami refill. They also charge a 3.5% service fee of your total bill. We didn't mind paying for it, just needed to be aware. We will be back for more!

Across the Pond delivers some solid dishes, but a few missteps kept it from being truly exceptional. The shrimp ceviche was enjoyable, but I was disappointed by the lack of avocado—there was only one piece in the entire dish. The soft-shell crab and yellowtail rolls were unconventional yet flavorful, with the buttery texture of the yellowtail roll being a standout. The coffee-cured salmon was bold and robust, while the shiromi was the highlight of my meal—the pairing with lemon and sea salt was simple but outstanding.

The atmosphere was another strong point, with well-thought-out lighting and a pleasant overall vibe. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. Our waiter spoke too quickly, making them hard to understand, and their aloof, condescending demeanor detracted from the experience.

While the food shows promise, the service issues made it hard to fully enjoy my visit.

Meh! It's overpriced for just OK food. Rice that was used for the roll was dry. Drinks were good, but nothing amazing, definitely not worth $16.

Food was good but not great. For the price point I expected more. The ambiance was nice but a bit too dark and loud for my liking. Server was very nice and friendly.

The best meal I've had in Phoenix. Fantastic sushi. We sat at the bar in front of the chefs and they work beautifully.
