This was a theater night for us and location across from the Orpheum was ideal. Fish & chips were excellent but the shrimp/pesto/corn appetizer was just okay. When I asked for an alternative to the "chips," the waitress said she could probably sub fries. She thought the chips were potato chips. Ended up asking for an extra side of coleslaw instead of fries. Dinner took a longer time than anticipated (restaurant was half full). Told the waitress we would be sharing...
The food beer and wine were all decent service could be a little better. We had tickets for the speaker series and this was 2 1/2 blocks away, so it was a perfect location to have a dinner and then be able to walk back to the venue in time.
We had been here once before, and I made a reservation this time since the staff were somewhat apprehensive about us not having a reservation and asked if we were staying in the hotel the other time. We had placed our order and shortly a gentleman from the kitchen comes out with two plates of food and went to a couple different tables and I told my partner; I bet that is our food and it was.
