Addis Ababa is a great restaurant to meet new people and make new friends. I love stopping by every weekend to get my favorite African food which is very hard to find. The food is always delicious and keeps me coming back.

I was on my way for work when found this unique restaurant along Bethany Home Road. It caught my attention that I had to stop in. The reception was amazing and made me feel like I was at home with family. On top of that the food was delicious. I had to tell my family about this amazing restaurant and looking forward to bringing my family to Addis in the near future. I had the Beef Samusa, Lamb Tibs, Shiro and Salad. The food was plenty that I had to take the rest home to share with family.

Addis Africa has the best Sambusa and Enjera. My favorite dish is Awaze Tibs and Veggie Combo. The best thing is you can make your own combination plate as you want it.

Absolutely delicious!!! I ordered a veggie combo with awaze tibs and spicy keywat, amazed to say it's the best combination! Food took a bit of time to come out, but it was still delicious

The worst Ethiopian food I have ever had i my life. The worst injera I have ever eated in my life. Total cost me almost $80.00. He gave me chicken tibs, as doro WAT. This was not WAT, this was chicken tibs. I’m sad to say, this absolutely NOT Ethiopian food. This is someone who is trying to make Ethiopian food, but doesn’t know how. When I was 7 years old, I can make better beets and gomen... Even the salad was wrong. The only thing edible was sambusas, but the lentils were still hard and raw. It’s under new management. I came with short notice, they made the food quickly. Injera was very dry, the tea was bad was under seasoned and weak, the vegetables are absolutely terrible. I use to work and here and know the previous owner. The menus were dirty. The new manager is a sweet guy, he’s very nice and friendly, he’s a great host, I really like him. But he ripped me off, fed me trash food, I had a friend with me. I tried to handle it respectfully and nicely with the manager, I didn’t want to leave a bad review, but I thought about how I spent $80.00 on really disgusting beets and nasty collard greens. Worst restaurant food experience of my life. I spent $80.00. ($76.00). I wish I could get a refund. Don’t ever come here (I had to say something.) I couldn’t have had good quality food somewhere else but I wanted show my Nigerian friend my culture. It was extremely embarrassing and the restaurant made me very ashamed. According to my Nigerian friend, the fufu was lumpy and cooked wrong. Imagine being embarrassed of your culture because someone presented it badly. ??$76.00 he gave us crunchy dry injera! It scratched my throat and I kept coughing. This food was mostly garbage food. The beef and chicken was dry . He made FAJITAS! This is the food your uncle or dad makes you when mom is not home, he learned from his wife or something, but you lie to him and tell him it’s good because you don’t want to hurt his feelings. Whoever made this can’t cook, and is a very rude and disrespectful person. Dry injera?? DRY INJERA??????????? Dry beef and chicken? Tomato sauce in doro wat?? Where is the Berbere and kibe? Chicken breast doro wat bro???? It was dark black injera and the outside was crunchy the corners were stale. ????????⁉️❓❓❓❓??????? why did they break my heart idk why.
