Smile, You're Traveling---Henry Rollins I spent a week in Phoenix and returning home to San Francisco my plane first got delayed. I got a $12 food voucher from the airline. I had already made myself a vegan Dagwood Sandwich with Dave's Killer Bread, BBQ Tofu, Avocado, a slice of red onion, and kale with hummus so opted to get a side here of chips and salsa. The chips and salsa was super expensive aka nearly $8 plus taxes and wasn't good. Panera Bread was a fairly long walk away and was traveling minimalist with all my gear and no checked bags so dined here as couldn't be bothered with walking from here's to there's with my gear dealing with a delay and cancellation. I don't recommended dining here. My flight ended up getting canceled and had to fly home on another airline. All in all made it home yet was quite the ordeal.

listen, whomever was working the counter was very sweet and doing the best she could with circumstances that were out of her control, but i went to this spot at 11:30 am on a saturday right before lunch rush. right before i paid, i heard one of the cooks say that they were out of chicken. with two types of meat on the menu, on a saturday, during lunch rush, you can imagine this was met well by the cashier. i heard them say they had some chicken in the oven, and the cashier said that my order would be fine (i had just ordered chicken). then i was asked if i wouldn't mind the carne asada, and somehow suspiciously wound up with chicken anyway.for $20 i got the worst taco bowl of my life, and i have been dealing with food poisoning for the last three days. the rice was crunchy and the sour cream was the most flavorful part of the meal.save yourself and go to the bar next door.

As a flight Attedant, this is probably the worst airport food I have ever had. The prices are ridiculous as to be expected for airport food but the portions are beyond small and the flavor is not there. Don’t waste your time or your money.

Avoid. So bad. You would think they would try. And my meal was over $20 with tax.

Trash food, stay away from this. The service is super slow and the tacos of carne asada are the worst once I had in my life. RUN!

Picture speaks for itself. 30$ for some iceberg lettuce and few scraps of pre frozen chicken. This was the bowl. Took 30 mins to make on a Monday.

Horrid chips: the amount of salt on the tortilla chips, in the guacamole, *and in the salsa is insane--enough to triple your blood pressure. Today they were out of multiple other menu items. Surprisingly, the clerk at the register was pleasant. Also on the plus side: Seating is good with abundant outlets. Wish I'd seen the many other reviews cautioning dinners from stopping here.

If you can at all avoid eating at the Phoenix airport, do so. If you are forced to eat in the Phoenix airport, try not to do so on the E gate. If you are forced to eat in the E gate, avoid ajo Al's. Takes them 20 minutes to slap together a bowl of boiled chicken and stale rice that makes chipotle look like elegant fine dining. Weird smells (eg fish, which they do not serve) emanate from the back. AVOID.

The food and service were subpar. I ordered Tacos Miranda, and the chicken was DRY and FLAVORLESS. I asked for salsa to pour over the chicken, and they didn't have any. Save your time, money, and tastebuds. Pick a different restaurant.

If I could give it a negative number I would. The girl at the register who should be taking orders was super busy gossiping with coworkers to actually take an order. When she finally came to the counter I asked if the chips and dip had cheese in it, photo shows white dip, she proceeded to lecture and yell at me on how wood she know?! The food has to come through security so it's already made!!" As the cook wasn't inspiring confidence standing around I held up my hand to stop the flow of words and left. The manager needs to look hard at his crew by the reviews on here.
