I was in this area and looked at the top rated restaurants in the area and this restaurant was suggested. I tried it and glad I did. The service was amazing and the food tasted great and fresh. The restroom was nice and clean. All around a great experience. Thanks Alexi's family.

I have lived in the area for quite some time and I’ve always seen this restaurant on the corner. It looks like an excellent choice for a breakfast and when I called and asked if they served breakfast all day, I was happy to find out that they did.
I was greeted warmly by the staff, and they quickly took my drink order. Got me a menu and drink.
I ordered a chorizo skillet with a side biscuit and gravy. Everything was just OK. Nothing fantastic about the gravy, it tasted like it may have come from a can. It wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t anything special and I’ve actually had better at Wendy’s. The biscuits deidn’t hold up very well under the and could probably have done a little bit longer in the oven. Everything was just kind of mushy and flavorless.

July 5, 2024 I decided to go to Alex‘s for breakfast today instead of my usual jack-in-the-Box or waffle house I said let’s give them a shot and said there’s no way they can make a bad breakfast i was wrong first thing that made it bad was the price $17 and some change and this was a to go order I can get the exact same thing at waffle House for $13. and it’s 100 times better. so I get home hoping to enjoy my breakfast open up the box and became skeptical right away. What they call hashbrowns are just chopped potatoes with no seasoning whatsoever and not even crispy the omelette was ham, bacon and cheese again zero seasoning, a.k.a. salt the bacon had very little flavor. The ham was OK the cheddar cheese very little flavor. Also, this is the third time I’ve been there in 13 years in my book 3 strikes and you’re out I won’t be back and I really wanted to like this place because it’s in my neighborhood.

Is it all about perception? sure. I agree with the one star reviewers and I deseggre with most of the five stars, suspiciouly made up reviewers. On my way back home after my MRI done at Banner image center I stop at Alexi's with my twelve year old son for a quick breakfast. Family and country style does not mean poor food as a result of bad cooking this is exactly what my son and I got. Bacon, cheese and ham omelet and "hash brown" (a Tbl and a half sized of fried potatoes pieces not shredded)? a burrito shaped omelet one fourth of a regular size omelet offered at any breafast restaurant, pancakes under cooked. Total $40 way overpriced. My recommendation: to hire a qualify cook who truly undertand that preparing food for others is also an act of love. If you like a mom and pops vibe here it is it's. Hearty American dining for tour stomachs! Come take a seat and try one of their biscuits and gravy plates prices are reasonable considering food cost going up everywhere but worth it trust me!
