Wow!!!Absolutely wonderful meal. I have never had Baba ganouch that had such depth of flavor. You can tell the dishes are hand made. No Sysco hummus here. Don’t be intimidated by the out of the way location or the security fence out front. The owner, Zhoa does the cooking and she is incredibly talented. More food than we needed. Huge, delicious, dimensional dishes. So much flavor.

Absolutely incredible food. Everything we tried - nearly everything on the menu - was excellent. Small number of helpful staff taking orders and cooking, but not a problem if you’re not in a hurry. 10/10 would recommend.

I only write reviews when I'm passionate - and Alzohour is no exception. This is hands down one of the best meals I've had in a very long time, especially the Pastilla. The moment I tried it, I felt my standards changing -- it was nothing short of incredible. This place, and paired with its delightful, charming owner is a gem to be discovered. Part of me wants to tell everyone, part of me wants to hide it from the world but the owner Zuhoor deserves to be discovered. A meal here is now part of my Phoenix ritual and I look forward to the next time I'm able to visit.

Came at 6:30pm for dinner. Waited 30min in front of it because it was clearly open but the first door that is used to protect from robbery was closed. No note on the door. I tried to call several times but nobody answered. My wife told me that they were probably eating for ramadan as it was sunset. I respect every religion but it’s not how owners should manage a restaurant and treat their clients. I’ve never seen that even in Morocco.
Great food and tea

This Moroccan gem is amazing. We had their Hariri soup and the lamb couscous. We also had their mango juice. The food was amazing. Very highly recommend. I can see why it was voted the best restaurant in 2023

It was my first time visiting Phoenix, and as someone from the Middle East, I have a deep appreciation for Mediterranean food. The owner of the restaurant was incredibly nice, and the food itself was simply amazing. Although the store's atmosphere wasn’t great due to its age, the quality of the food more than made up for it.

Small restaurant inside a grocery store. I tried the Bastilla and Lamb tagine and both were delicious. And the owner was extremely friendly and hospitable.
