Angry Crab Shack

I don’t usually leave reviews, especially for restaurants—but this experience was too awful not to share. My friend and I visited the Angry Crab Shack on 32nd St. and Indian School. Her food came out right away, but mine—took over 35 minutes. When it finally arrived, it looked and tasted old, like it had been sitting out. I didn’t complain and just ate it. What made it worse was that our waitress never once checked on us. When I finally asked for the check, she had to correct it multiple times. I had also ordered fries to go, and when I got them, they were greasy and clearly old. That’s when I’d had enough. I asked to speak with the manager. I didn’t want to escalate things, but it was frustrating. They eventually gave me a crab boil to take home, which I plan to give to someone in need. But here’s the part that pushed this beyond just bad service: As I was leaving, I witnessed three employees cussing out a disabled veteran. This man had a cane and looked like he could barely walk. They laughed at him, mocked him, and called him names. I was disgusted. I’ll never return to this restaurant—not just because of the poor service and bad food, but because of the sheer disrespect they showed to someone who has served this country. Do better.

Sheila was amazing!! Friendly, funny, and took great care of us. The best waitress, thank you!! The food was awesome, especially the snow crab with sausage (me) and scallop rice bowl (my husband). Wonderful evening.

Came in with my spouse for lunch after church and it was delicious!! Great costumer service from checking in with the hostess to the manager also passing by checking in on us. Definitely my go to spot for Cajun shrimp. You will not be disappointed!!!

I ordered a head on and it was a very expensive meal and I received the wrong order… and the shrimp are from those frozen ones. Not fresh shrimps. Seriously.

I paid extra for sides I didn’t get. I paid for corn, onion rings and beans and rice. Not one of those items was with my order. Next time I’ll eat there. Never for delivery again.

Service is terrible here, managers do not care if your order is correct. I’ve been wronged 3 times at this location and all the managers say is oh I’m so sorry. My order has been missing items multiple times and the only reason I went back is because they said if it happened again they would fix it. Yet when it happened again, they said oh I’m sorry and that was it. This place is terrible and I will not be coming again. Don’t waste your time or money on this location. Go to to the Mesa location near by. The crab legs are also a lot more filled and they are much nicer. Can’t believe we have managers that don’t do there job running a restaurant that people pay a lot.
