Angry Crab Shack

We had a short visit in the area and this place was suggested to us by a local. It was a fun and delicious meal. It brought me back to my childhood, visiting family in Louisiana and the crab boils they shared with us. I had the red beans and rice...it was very good, great spice and flavor. My husband ordered the create your own boil and he loved it.

It was my first visit to the Angry Crab Shack and to my surprise it was a full blown restaurant with a mellow beach atmosphere surrounded with view screens… the servers were very friendly and delightful and more than willing to help out with their menu options, just a wonderful experience and I would certainly recommend bringing the family or just yourself

The food is fantastic! Crazy as it sounds, but their hamburgers are so, so good! Stacie was our waitress. She was so attentive and kind! Service and food like that will make us go back and back! So welcoming and the food is great! Highly recommend!

Back in the days while in Chicago we dined and have boiled king crabs it was big legs, unfortunately, we tried this place the second time to give a chance, but they failed bad than the first. We decided to have our 2026 NY early dinner at the Surprise location in Bell with my family visiting from SD. Originally, we're all from Chicago and had good King Crab legs there. We spent $400 on our food. Me and my husband had King Crab legs Seafood boil price at $150, my grandkids had fish & chips and one has corn dog, snow crab, drinks were water and pepsi, no alcohol, no appetizer. The King crab leg are so small and almost have no meat should be called just crab leg. The supposed to be largest King crab leg in my meal with claw (1 pc) looks a mini claw with barely no meat and so thin like malnourish crab, they had 4 piece of cut sausage (1 inch wide, 2 potatoes and 2 corn) . Its a waste of money and not the kind of King crabs to eat. Never ever go back to any Angry Crab again, too pricey and not worth the food that you pay lots of money and expect to be happy with the quality. Tha only good here was our server was nice. Food go somewhere where you get food worth the price.

Sat outside on the patio and they had a homeless guy tripping on drugs a few feet away rambling to himself and saying he was going to kill the imaginary person he was talking to in front of our kids.

They offered for us to eat inside because apparently they don’t want to hurt the feelings of the guy indulging in drugs.

Just wanted to have a decent meal outside. Will never go back here again.

Wow!! This place was incredible. A very large restaurant with space for large groupings. The atmosphere was upbeat and very welcoming. The food was so fresh and extremely tasty. As a first timer, I was impressed by the high quality seafood and efficiency of order taking. Our food came out piping hot 🔥I gave 4/5 because our waitress forgot about us several times. Not her fault, it was busy in there but still... other than that, amazing food, wonderful atmosphere, and good service.

Ordered on UberEats. The first order was great. Everything was neat and fresh with all the sauces . This is my 3rd order and it is downhill. No sauces, lemons, or napkins. I guess they don't want people to support this business.

Came here a couple of months ago with a friend to celebrate her birthday. We both had their lunch special of crab and shrimp for $20. My kids got macaroni and cheese, the other had chicken nuggets and fries. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. The seasoning that I chose to put on my crab and shrimp was the Trifecta and medium heat. I think next time I will definitely do hot or angry ghost. Otherwise it was all very good.

Casual atmosphere, good friendly service and lots on the menu to choose from. Had a good time there. Food was very good. You can get a regular meal for around 15 bucks or go all out and get buckets of seafood for a hundred bucks it's up to you.

Liz, my server was phenomenal; courteous, fri2 day, super informative and knowledgeable re the menu. Her recommendation was spot on! And the food was GREAT! We are so often disappointed by lackluster taste, dinky portions, and inflated prices. None of that @ The Angry Crab Shack!! $10 gets you 1/2lb shrimp, potato, 1/2 ear of corn and a soda. I couldnt eat it all! ...and the choice of sauces are great! 10 for 10!! ...Angry Crab Shack or something from fast fud for the same $$??
**They do have non- shellfish/seafood items too!
