Casual atmosphere, good friendly service and lots on the menu to choose from. Had a good time there. Food was very good. You can get a regular meal for around 15 bucks or go all out and get buckets of seafood for a hundred bucks it's up to you.

Liz, my server was phenomenal; courteous, fri2 day, super informative and knowledgeable re the menu. Her recommendation was spot on! And the food was GREAT! We are so often disappointed by lackluster taste, dinky portions, and inflated prices. None of that @ The Angry Crab Shack!! $10 gets you 1/2lb shrimp, potato, 1/2 ear of corn and a soda. I couldnt eat it all! ...and the choice of sauces are great! 10 for 10!! ...Angry Crab Shack or something from fast fud for the same $$??
**They do have non- shellfish/seafood items too!

I went to Angry Crab yesterday and had one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I used to come here often with my son, but after this visit, I’ll never go back.

We usually sit in a booth, but even though several were available, they wouldn’t let us — I had to sit in the middle of the section. I ordered the gumbo, which was not good at all. I also ordered oysters, but never received them because the waiter forgot to include them. My son’s lemonade had a strange aftertaste.

For my meal, I ordered the Queen Crab, scallops, lobster tails, an egg, and two red potatoes. The crab had an odd ammonia-like taste, the egg was dry and unpleasant, and instead of the red potatoes I ordered, they brought me corn. The scallops were just okay.

Overall, the food was over-seasoned, dry, and unevenly cooked — there were just clumps of seasoning all over. The staff did offer to replace my Queen Crab, and the second batch was slightly better, but still overcooked and hard in some areas. I also told the waiter about the missing oysters and the wrong sides, but he brought me yet another corn instead of the potatoes I asked for.

A manager did come by earlier to check in and tried to help me charge my phone, which I appreciated, but the overall experience was still terrible. The quality of the food was awful, especially for the $136 I paid. Even though I still left a 15% tip, I walked away completely disappointed.

The crab bag was delicious. When you get it super spicy, it's deliciously spicy! I wish they had the small forks to make it easier to eat the crab.

Fun experience loved every bit of it! Wish staff was more enthused for my grandmother birthday they were lazy. However food was amazing SHOUT OUT TO JOSH FOR PICKING UP THE SLACK

I tried a boul of their gumbo and found it to be quite good with a lot of shrimp and other tasty ingredients. The restaurant was very busy, showing that others like the food.

Cassie was great and helped out a lot with ordering and even helped my girl put her straw in her drink. We had the broil bag and she was helpful in letting us know how prices and explaining the sauces.

DO NOT come here go to the one in Mesa or just one more in the east valley. The service here was bottom of the food chain. Food was not up to par and they blamed it on the workers being tired... I also saw the cook come out and talk to their gusts they had in the building and that told me exactly why the food sucked, I see my server 3 times, one order came back wrong completely, and our seafood boi ls had no sauce or seasoning, and then they gave me 12 dollars off the bill 140$ bill. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!

Great atmosphere, our waitress was really nice. The food was good. My sis enjoyed her crab boil with sausage and I got the 1 piece catfish plate, which was more than enough along with the sampler plate. Cheese cake for the birthday girl. I'd say give this location a try
