Armandos Mexican Food offers a diverse dining experience. While some customers have had less than satisfactory experiences, others have greatly enjoyed their meals. The restaurant's handmade daily beans and fresh produce have been praised, with certain dishes like the tostadas plate and chicken tacos receiving high acclaim. Despite some drawbacks, Armandos has a loyal customer base who are willing to visit the establishment despite the distance.
The restaurant's meat dishes have been lauded for their exceptional flavor and tenderness. The sauce bar is particularly noteworthy, providing a range of options, including a spicy salsa that sets it apart from other establishments. Additionally, the taco sizes are generous, ensuring that customers receive good value for their money.
While some customers have encountered issues with the preparation of certain dishes, such as soggy chimichangas, the restaurant remains a popular choice for those seeking a satisfying Mexican meal. The burritos are praised for their substantial size, and the carne asada is considered a respectable offering, placing Armandos above more mainstream Mexican food chains.
