My experience at Asi es la Vida Mexican Restaurant was disappointing. The portions were very small and definitely not worth the high prices charged. The food quality did not justify the cost, and I left feeling unsatisfied. For the amount you pay, you expect better portion sizes and overall value. Unfortunately, this was not the case, and I would not recommend it based on this experience.

We came here for dinner after seeing the giant pink building on the corner and wondering what it was (you can't miss it)! All the staff were super friendly and attentive. I loved the decor and ambiance inside! The food was all delicious! I highly recommend trying this place out if you want to try Mexican food that's not the regular old tacos and burritos you can get anywhere else.

The flavors here are excellent! This is not your typical Mexican restaurant with giant plates of burritos, enchiladas, tacos, etc, most of which are relatively flavorless or all taste the same. Asi has a limited number of dishes that are all incredible. Portions are smaller than we Americans have become accustomed to, but it is still enough to fill a healthy adult. Prices seem on the high end when looking at the menu, but when you consider just the cost to the consumer of the high quality cuts of meat and other ingredients, you quickly realize that you would spend the same to eat as well at home.
The chips are homemade and delicious. The fresh guacamole is a welcome treat. It is definitely worth treating yourself to Asi Es La Vida at least on occasion.
After all, This IS The Life!

AMAZING! We were trying to go to another restaurant nearby and they were an hour and 45 min wait so they suggested checking out Asi Es La Vida. Best suggestion ever. This place is a find. Enter through the back near the kitchen and you are brought to a quiet cozy dining area with a small bar. There was live music the night we were there and they were great. The food was outstanding. Perfectly cooked and flavor for days. The service is beyond exceptional. I cant wait to go back. Try the Enrollado de Res.

This restaurant has a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. The menu is simple but full of delicious options, from fresh fish to tasty meats and sides. With great drinks, fun desserts, and live guitar music, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxing, flavorful meal.

Drove in. Parked. The guy came out and told us we're closed now.
Their door sign say 9pm closing time.
A total waste of time!!!

WATCH OUT FOR PRICES! Food was good but prices were way too high. Soda water was $5 with no refills. It was $36 for 2 plates of chips and guacamole that we didn’t order assuming it came with the meal. What Mexican restaurant doesn’t give complimentary chips and dip ?!?! It was unclear what came with the meal and what was a la carte. Turns out most things were a la carte for $6-7. They wouldn’t split up our bill either. Now I know why…because people would argue their bill. When it is all on one bill you don’t know who ordered what and they can get away with nickel and diming people.

What a treat! Asi Es La Vida is an excellent place to dine. The food and service were top notch. I took my sons and a few of their friends out to dinner at the restaurant. We were met with a wonderful waitress that tended to our every need. The food was EXCELLENT! Very authentic, flavorful, and filling. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice, with a feeling of being in a small home. I will be returning to Asi Es Vida!
