Authentic Mexican food. Not a tourist trap not Mexican inspired, Authentic Mexican food. The beans are fresh not from a can, the salsa is fresh not from a jar. Just fresh delicious food that is very flavorful. México city style food. The service is excellent. I love going to Así es la vida.Best Totopos I ever had wish they sell them at the supermarket. Was driving by and decided to stop in. Simple menu which was great and actually the food was good. The Guacamole isn't a lot and isn't prepared table side as mentioned. You don't get chips and salsa like you would traditionally get but can be ordered with chips that more resemble chicharrones. Ordered steak tacos and Cecina and it was pretty good, will not complain at all. If you're in the neighborhood this is a little unassuming place with solid food

In a word.... popular. And for good reason. Food was fantastic. People still rolling in at 8:30 pm on a Tuesday night.

Designed to be somewhat comfy and classy. Food was good. Menu was limited but i felt it was good. Mexican food was authentic. The menu items were unique making it a must-go-to for us since we are mexican. Food presentation was pleasing and the taste was satistfying.

We're visiting from California for Spring training. Found this place via Yelp search and so glad to see tried it! The food was authentic comida Mexicana. Ambience was wonderful, live beautiful music by guitarist. You can hear and appreciate the music but can still have a conversation. Staff was very friendly. Enjoyed everything we had. We will definitely be back!

What a cute little place! Food was amazing, service was great and the ambiance would be perfect for a date or small group of adults.Parking: Limited space in the lot, but there is street parking nearby as well.Kid-friendliness: This place would be great for a date. Don't ruin it for yourself and everyone else by bringing your kids.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. Super authentic food, the guac and chicken mole are to die for. Cocktails were great, and we got a giant watermelon juice to take home and wish I had gotten two! The service is just as good as the food. Can't wait to go back

Wow! Was doing business in the area and stopped in. Amazing food. Best mexican I've had actually. The fresh pineapple juice was beyond delicious. I usually don't drink much with a meal. I gulped down 2 glasses of that. I live 30 mins away but will definitely be making that drive again and again.

This place was almost a 30 minute drive but well worth it. Asi Es La Vida is the real deal, authentic Mexican cuisine. Place is tiny but so charming. Besides the food being so delicious, our server was also excellent. To make the night perfect, there was a singer playing the guitar. If you're looking for a good restaurant for Mexican food you will want to stop here.
