“It was good food, a pub vibe, with locals. The drinks were reg bar prices, but I had a $20 plate that should have been bigger or a $12-15 plate, but given the diversity of the menu, I’ll still pay.“

“Absolutely fantastic place to dine. The service was amazing despite it being extremely busy (come early to avoid lines). The prices are very fair and the portions are generous. The sushi itself isn’t anything spectacular but is close to Japan’s sushi when it comes to the rice’s texture and flavor. The meat is well seasoned and the sauces add an extra kick if needed. Miso soup is actually incredible with a strong miso taste but not overly salty. The cake was a really tasty cake that’s heavily influenced by Asian baking elements as it’s not super sweet and has a light cream. Would recommend trying this place out, their bentos are amazing but do come early as it fills up quick.“

The biggest improvement, the vibrant young gal working the front register and etc. She was very energetic, positive, quick, and friendly (compared to the man that was there always in the past -not the owner/chef, a diff guy). She’s a GREAT addition to your place!

The chef makes The Best Katsu Chicken. It’s made with Panko bread crumbs which also make a huge difference vs other crumbs.

I had to get the Pineapple Fried Rice w BBQ Chicken as this is a favorite of mine. There are so many flavors and textures! Please know my photo, I personally chop my grilled chicken up into small dice so the dish has equal bites.

The portions are large to share or have left overs, which I love!

I also recommend their Sticky Rice and Spring Rolls/Lumpia, so delish!

It’s a small restaurant, and they seem to do a lot of takeout, but everyone I’ve told about it has said they loved it too. “Kembara is a restaurant full of elevated Asian street food, one dish after the other was the next best thing we've tasted. The flavors are divine! It is hard to put the explosion of flavors your palate tastes into words that would do justice to what we experienced with each bite but let me tell you, I can't wait to go back. Special thanks to Chef Angelo Sosa and Penny Tagliarina. We were fortunate enough to meet both of them and tour the kitchen, fan girl'd out to say the least. These humble humans are so kind and their passion for creating exquisite food and drinks has been knocked out of the park. They exude pride in what they do, and they do it well! The food and drinks are visually stunning, along with the atmosphere. “I have gotten the combo which has crispy chicken and steamed chicken and it comes with rice, cucumbers, a broth, and then I got the Thai sauce. Highly recommend the Thai sauce. And the pomegranate tea. The steamed chicken is so moist and tender. It’s literally unreal. The crispy chicken is so good. It doesn’t feel way down. Everything is light.
It’s so clean. This is my first time will be coming back.“

“This is my favorite sushi place. The Las Vegas roll is the best! My husband loves the Banzai roll. Honestly, everything we have ordered has been high quality. I’m usually a little nervous about raw fish but have no reservations here. The servers are so nice and personable. Great vibes. The late night happy hour is really good - keep in mind that there’s no happy hour on holidays. We keep coming back!“

“Our group of 9 stopped here before heading back to California. As soon as we arrived we got seated right away. They did take like 5 to 10 minutes to give us menus, but also many of our group was using the restroom so I dont blame them. The menu had a lot of items that looked good and it was hard to decide what to get. Everyone ordered from the lunch special and we were happy we did because as you can see from the pictures it was a great amount of food. The Thai tea was great and strong how I like it. Both soups were amazing that some of us wanted more eventhough it was 108 outside. I got the sweet and sour pork and it had just the right amount of sauce and I loved the rice. Like all boba places the slightly off kilter wall art is endearing (I swear this is a requirement in a boba shop).“

“For some reason, ALL P.F. Chang's have a disconnect where they are not aware of reservations made through Open Table. We had this issue at another location, but didn't realize this was at all locations. The other locations at least attempted to be sympathetic, but this location had a hostess that gave a strong, “Oh well. So sad, too bad.” attitude. Even though the restaurant appeared quite empty, she said we'd have to wait and she would try to get us a table. No explanation - that maybe they didn't have servers on yet, that maybe reservations they DID have on their books left few tables, NOTHING! The food was good, as always, and our server was great and ALMOST made up for the hostess. We will not be going to this location again because of her, and have learned that apparently we NEED TO CALL! for a reservation next time we want to enjoy P.F. Chang's.“

“We have been here about 3 times here in Phoenix. There are always a lot of customers, it's always worth driving 30 or 40 minutes and enjoying something delicious! The atmosphere is familiar, the quality of the food and quantity is excellent, the price is reasonable and most importantly the taste deserves 5 stars.

You will like the rolls, the Orange chicken dish and any other dish.
