We are coming back to taste another signature roll asap, but tonight we had their Pink Lady roll and is was heavenly. Super sweet team working there. Support these guys. They need to stick around!“

The food had good flavor but definitely wasn’t gluten-free, rice wasn’t very sticky, so it was hard to use chopsticks. Food was not gluten-free but I guess I wasn’t expecting that when I came to this restaurant. I spent about $110 for a family of 5, three of them were kids kids over the age of 17. Overall, the restaurant was nice and cozy the chairs weren’t comfortable and the table was tiny for someone above 6 foot.“

“I recently ordered takeout from little asia , and I’m still thinking about the experience — yes, it was that good.

I got a small Chicken Teriyaki plate and a small plate of Orange Chicken, and right off the bat, the presentation blew me away. For a takeout spot, the care they put into plating the dishes was beyond impressive it was neat, vibrant, and honestly some of the best presentation I’ve ever seen from a takeout restaurant.

Flavor-wise, both dishes were packed with bold, satisfying tastes. The Chicken Teriyaki had that perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet, with tender chicken and a beautifully glazed finish. But the real standout for me was the Orange Chicken.... I’m usually cautious with this dish since it tends to be overly sweet at most places, but not here. The sauce had a bright, tangy flavor that brought real depth and balance.

Beyond the food, the service was incredibly fast and the staff were genuinely kind and welcoming. You can tell they care about what they’re doing, and it shows in every aspect from the packaging to the warm customer interaction.

This place is the definition of a hidden gem. I truly hope they get the recognition and business they deserve, because they’re serving up exceptional food with heart.

“Kembara is a restaurant full of elevated Asian street food, one dish after the other was the next best thing we've tasted. The flavors are divine! It is hard to put the explosion of flavors your palate tastes into words that would do justice to what we experienced with each bite but let me tell you, I can't wait to go back. Special thanks to Chef Angelo Sosa and Penny Tagliarina. We were fortunate enough to meet both of them and tour the kitchen, fan girl'd out to say the least. These humble humans are so kind and their passion for creating exquisite food and drinks has been knocked out of the park. They exude pride in what they do, and they do it well! The food and drinks are visually stunning, along with the atmosphere. We all enjoyed your delicious food Chef's (especially the Tuna Thai Jewel soup, Chicken Satay skewers, Low mein noodles, Fried Crab rice, and the Steamed Pork Dumplings, but let's not forget the epic drinks. The drink list is so unique we tried a few but hands down the winner tonight was called Joy Luck Club: it had Angel's Envy Bourbon, Pusser's Rum, Coconut Milk, and Yuzu. Chef Angelo rounded our evening out by sending over sake, I must say it was the best sake I've ever tasted) and the evening was everything we hoped it would be. “I had the chicken and rice (white meat) and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was cooked perfectly — super moist and juicy — and the sauce that came with it was excellent; I had the sweet black and the Thai sauce. The rice had really unique spices and flavors that made the whole dish stand out. The soup on the side was light and very refreshing. Service was also fantastic — the lady at the counter was so friendly and efficient, and I got my food very quickly. I would definitely love to come back and try all the different sauces. Highly recommend!

“Made a random stop in here after finding the shopping center to be under renovation and i was not disappointed! Ordered some thai hot wings, and a salt pepper and garlic combination dish with a Long Thai Tea for a drink. The drink was recommended by the server as I described what type of drinks I prefer and he nailed it with this one. He placed the ice in a seperate cup on the side which meant that my drink was all drink! Wow! Amazing. The wings were cooked to perfection and crispy while still very juicy. The Thai chili dipping sauce was a hit for sure! The main dish was also very good and flavorful and good portions. The server was very friendly and was cool to chat with“

I'm in town for a conference and I was able to create my own bowl with cabbage, glass noodles, korean bbq and veggies and for $15 you get a giant portion, honestly enough for 2 meals and a large fountain drink. The person who helped me was cheery and helpful when I was indecisive on a few things. Would definitely come here again! The only thing I would suggest is looking at the menu ahead of time as it's not like chipotle or cava where everything is all out in front of you to choose from - they cover their ingredients (which I'm a big fan of) so it's helpful to know a bit more ahead of time.“

From the moment you walk in, there's an inviting warmth that sets the tone. The service is attentive and friendly. The food is outstanding ✨️
The pepper steak here deserves a special mention. Hands down, the best I've ever had. The beef is melt-in-your-mouth tender with a rich, savory flavor that is perfectly balanced. It's clear they use high-quality meat and treat it with great care.
The sesame chicken also impressed me ~ lightly crispy on the outside while staying unbelievably tender inside. The sauce strikes that delicate balance between sweet and savory.
Not to be overlooked, the chicken egg roll was excellent ~ crisp, golden, and packed with flavorful filling. Even the noodles were memorable: perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of seasoning and a satisfying chew that made them irresistible.
Dao Kitchen isn't just good ~ it raises the bar. Every dish I tried showed a respect for ingredients and a mastery of technique that's rare to find. It's the kind of place you find yourself thinking about long after the meal is over.

“This was absolutely incredible. Our old go to sushi place changed ownership and quality, so we picked a new one based on reviews. So glad we came here tonight!

First off, the service was awesome and Jeff, our waiter, was extremely personable and attentive. He helped make our night even better.

Secondly, please do not leave without trying the Thai curry tonkatsu hot pot. Holy moly this is my new go to tonkatsu. I want this every time I’m sick now ? the broth was perfectly flavored and balanced, the chicken was soft but not chewy, the veggies were amazing, and the noodles were very well done. My husband even noticed how relaxed I got after eating it. It was perfection. The huge ass bowl was more than enough for a whole meal for two people, let alone the apps and sushi we also got.

Thirdly, the rest of the food. I am from an Oceanside city and I am incredibly picky about my seafood and sushi. I rarely find any I like in this landlocked valley. The sushi here was incredibly fresh, generously portioned, and overall amazing. We ate it before I could take pics. We got the Alaska roll, salmon nigiri, salmon crunch, and one other I forgot the name of. All were incredible.

For apps, we got the jalapeño poppers and the soft shell crab. Please, do yourself a favor and get the crab. It was a whole crab and it was juicy and flavorful. The jalapeño popper was also the perfect amount of spice; tasteful but not deadly.

The best part? For all of the above (2 apps, 3 rolls, nigiri, and a huge hot pot) plus tip was only $97.00. That was incredible.

We recently had one of the best servers I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, they were so funny and relatable with everyone at our table, I truly appreciated their hospitality and personality. I’m always unsure about what to get when we come here because it’s kind of like DimSum where you can share your entrees but you don’t have to. I typically order my fail safe, which is sweet and sour chicken and brown rice, it’s pretty good.
