Atlasta Catering and Event Concepts

I’ve been in Phoenix for a conference for 24 hours and have been to dozens of events like this. The Atlasta team has been impressive from the start. The food they prepared was excellent, and their staff couldn’t have been kinder. I often ask staff at functions like this for their names, but rarely do the staff ask me back. The Atlasta team did.

I had lovely interactions in particular with Kayla, Macy, and Emily (? apologies if I misremembered).

Very unprofessional if I could give 0 stars I would!!!!

Was employed at this company for two days -when I asked when I will receive my pay stub they lacked communication and professionalism and gave me different dates.They then pulled my schedule when I asked why my schedule was pulled they lied and said I was being moved into a different position- but Steve decided to let me go. When I asked about the days again they claimed I would receive it and acted as if I was harassing them when I just wanted clarification and the truthful answer.
Steve personally called me an “unbelievable idiot” -which Is a direct violation of human rights
Any one seeking to work at this company I warn you it’s not as it seems

If you’re looking for the best caterer for a wedding or special event, look no further than Atlasta Catering. We were recommended to check them out for our wedding at the Desert Botanical Gardens by several trusted sources, including our wedding planner (Niki from NJ Event Collective) and photographer (Matthew Wheeler) and they did not disappoint.

From start to finish, the entire process was top-notch. The owner, Steve, made our tasting session an unforgettable experience. Instead of just studying a menu, Steve and his team took us on a culinary journey, exploring each dish one by one. After that first tasting, we knew Atlasta would be our caterer: the hospitality, professionalism, and most importantly, the food completely blew us away.

After the tasting, we selected our favorite appetizers and entrees and worked closely with the team to finalize the menu, rentals, and quote. Atlasta was incredibly professional and flexible throughout — any request was welcome. Whether you want plated salads and a buffet for entrees, a full buffet, or a plated dinner, they’re accommodating and make the process easy. They provided options for selecting dinnerware and drinkware to elevate the evening. We even added coffee later with no hassle. Plus, they offered thoughtful drink pairings after reviewing the Desert Botanical Gardens’ alcohol menu.

On the wedding day, Atlasta did an outstanding job. We, our friends, and our family family couldn’t stop raving about the food!

Atlasta Catering, run by the incredible Steve and Kristine Short, made our wedding unforgettable. Steve’s presence on the day of our event was such a kind and unexpected touch—it truly showed their commitment to excellence. Throughout the entire process, communication was flawless. Every email was answered within 24 hours, and a special thanks goes to Madison, Kayla, and Kristine for their patience in answering all my questions.

The tasting before booking was an experience in itself—next level and left no doubt that we were in great hands. On the big day, Cambria, our catering captain, kept us well-fed and happy. We opted for a buffet to stay within our budget, and neither the food quality nor the service skipped a beat. The dishes were restaurant quality, and the attention to detail was remarkable. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food!

I delayed writing this review because I truly could not put into words how great Atlasta was to work with. I am so happy that we picked them as our caterer. They set the standard for the industry!

Wow wow wow!! We are east coasters who just held a conference at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at ASU. We interviewed a number of caterers for our two day event and boy are we lucky we landed on Atlasta! I think our attendees found the food better than the conference content! It was SO GOOD! We are used to working with hotels and their catering teams. They couldn’t hold a candle to this catering operation! This is our 17th annual conference and we have never had better food! The service was also impeccable. Thank you to the entire Atlasta team!!

No one here washes their hands. Their staff will unload entire trucks of dirty boxes and not one person will wash their hands before they’re handling your food. They will grab entire plates of half eaten food, forage through the scraps for “ recycling” and go right back to work without even touching hand sanitizer or anything. Typhoid Mary would be proud.

No customer service relations skills. Asked simple, direct, questions that were not addressed and I was addressed poorly.

Manager/owner "chef" treats his employees like second-rate people. Talks down to everyone, and if you have your own input, he will belittle them. Hires incompetent people. Would not reccomend

Disrespectful.

Great variety of delicious and creative foods, snacks, beverages. Socially/environmentally responsible utensils and plates. And wonderful customer care/service. Highly recommend!!

We LOVE working with Atlasta Catering. Kristine and her team are amazing to work with! Not only are they incredibly kind and generous, they take pride in their events and create a guest experience that is 5 stars.The food is fantastic and there is a variety of options to choose from. I have used Atlasta catering multiple times in multiple venues for our corporate events. The food (and visual display) is always amazing. Their onsite teams are extremely professional and the sales team that I work with (Kristine and Madison) respond faster than you can even send an email! I continue to be impressed with each of our interactions and would highly recommend Atlasta for all of your catering needs.
