As as a first generation Italian, I am very critical of Italian Cuisine. No one cooks Italian Food better than my ma ma right? Well Angiolo Livi comes as close as you can get. Our experience was just delightful, and the food was the best I'v had anywhere (outide of my ma ma's) Plus the decor was just spectacular and the wait staff excellent. After being on TV in Phoenix for over 30 years, people always ask where to go for the best Italian food. And I always say Avanti"s!

Every single thing about this place is exceptional, from beginning to end of the meal. You're greeted warmly, seated in a comfortable and beautiful environment, servers are attentive, but not overbearing. The food is absolutely delicious, the most delightful Italian fare you'll have anywhere in Phoenix (and I'm Sicilian, so I know of what I speak). You simply won't be disappointed at Avanti!

I ate here several years ago with my dad when we were passing through on an overnight layover. We stayed at a hotel nearby and found this place for dinner. We both experienced some of the best food and most outstanding service we've ever had. This was about 6 years ago, and we still talk about it all the time lol. We want to plan a trip back to AZ just to come back.

The food and drinks are excellent Avanti. We were celebrating a birthday and there happen to be two other parties also celebrating birthdays. We all congratulated each other, cheered each other on and said see you next year!

This is my number one restaurant of all time. We have been going there for over forty years. The quality of food never changes. It's the best. And their servers are outstanding. They really know how to take care of their customers. Our server Fred is so knowledgeable. He makes dining a real pleasure.
A great Italian dinner paired with Daou wines. The pre-dinner appetizers were fantastic. Very generous with the wine pours. The room decorations are somewhat dated but fun as the decor reminds me of a NY or NJ Italian restaurant from years past.
