I placed an order on 2/28 for 3/1 and I called at 10 in the morning on 3/1 to confirm my order that included BIRRIA just for them to say upon arrival that they were out of birria. The owner said they would have birria in an hour for another worker to come to us and say that they won’t have it for three hours. I paid $70 dollars for some fiesta fries to have the famous birria and traveled 45 plus minutes to be completely let down. I get things happen but when an order is placed waaaaay ahead of time and it’s known that it should have birria and be told there is none is very very disappointing. We then were brought our order which originally should have included Barbados and the they opted to not give us that either and give us chicken which we didn’t order. When I brought it to an employees attention she responded with “for future reference it’ll either be birria or Barbados.” The website should state that but I can assure you there will be no future. Next time I’ll stick to my Sam’s club pizza because at least I’ll know I’m getting exactly what I paid for. $70 down the drain.

Went in for lunch with the wife she got the quesabirria tacos i got the king birria burrito,all I can say is tis place never drops the ball I was a loyal customer when they were on Indian School. Now that they moved is a 25 minute drive and I don't mind at all Flavors bussin service always bussin I pray this place takes off

We've been patrons of AZTaco King since they had a pop up tent outside the drive thru liquor store. The birria is super rich and flavorful. The portions are huge. The prices are very reasonable. The beans taste like birria and love. This is not the place to go when you're on a diet. The pizzabirria is hearty enough for a whole family including the Tios. This is a taco shop, don't expect Cafe Monarch, go expecting to need a dozen napkins and waddle back out to your car after.
Update - the new location is even better! They have a bar and cocktails🍸🍹! WORTH THE DRIVE ACROSS TOWN!

The food was good. Very short staffed so our table was not periodically checked on. The time to get our food was extremely long. I would not return to dine in, but I would possibly pick up if I was on that side of town.

Two tacos de chorizo and two de birra on flower tortillas. Both were made fresh and still hot, they were a lil on the salty side, but the lime and salsa evened it out pretty good. Will be back to pick up some of them tamales de birra soon!
