Our family met to dine and celebrate a birthday. We order all the entries and sharable dishes and of course a birthday cake.
Everything was cooked to perfection. They have some very interesting choices in cocktails
and the service was excellent.

This place is so so tasty. I got the barbacoa and my husband got the vodka pasta. They both were delish delish. The service was great as well. Highly recommend. Chill atmosphere.

My first time eating here - we were the lone diners at height of dinner hour on a Wednesday. Their ribs app was fantastic and so flavorful the meat fell off bone it was so tender. Had pesto pasta with chicken add-on and my partner had the stip steak. Both entrées were very good but the chef is very heavy-handed with the finishing salt, so much so that it distracted from the flavors of each dish. There is zero vibe in the dining room - everything looks identical to the previous restaurants in this space. Employees make no eye contact and go to no effort to show appreciation for guests. While service was good, gotta say those Gen Z employees have awkward social skills. This place has great potential but not sure they'll be around very long.

I cannot wait to come back here. The food and flavors were superb. If you’re considering where to eat tonight, definitely go to Azlin @ the Clarendon Hotel. The service was great and the casual ambience was ideal. Check out (some) of the food pics - I forgot to photograph everything. MUST GET: gem Caesar, hoisin sesame ribs, vodka pasta, himachi crudo, skirt steak.

Staff was super friendly. Latte and whipped coffee were great! Portion size was good for the price. I recommend the breakfast sandwiches.

The skirt steak was great. Potatoes are tasty. Get one of those chocolate pastries on the way out.

I came here for silent book club but was hungry and ended up ordering the broccolini and it was delicious. I actually wanted the mushroom potstickers, but they had sold out. The waitress recommended the broccolini immediately and so I went with it. It came out about ten minutes later, but I didn't mind or notice the wait that much because I was reading. It was super tasty- very savory seasoning, scrumptious sauce- a generous portion but not too filling which was exactly what I wanted. Pretty standard value/price, and I just really liked this spot a lot - nice bright welcoming atmosphere and plenty of places to sit and read communally. I would definitely come back!

All y'all better watch out for Azlin - they are dangerously close to bringing the best food around anywhere in Phoenix. This is the third time I've been here - incredible service, atmosphere, food, innovative menu. No more words could bring the necessary justice. Just go here!

3.23.24: WOW! Just wow! We are sooooo excited for Azlin! We live in the neighborhood & have been waiting to see what would take the place of the previous Fuego Bistro.

We ordered seven out of the 12 items on the menu & hands down they were all phenomenal.
* Confit Heirloom Tomatoes - homemade stracciatella cheese is a cross between burrata & ricotta. Simply divine w/ a generous drizzling of pesto & two slices of toasted bread
* Blistered Shishito Peppers - probably about 20 peppers in this order
* Little Gem Caesar Salad - solid presentation & taste
* Chicken Yakitori Skewers - nice white meat, marinated in a scrumptious Honey Tamari Glaze
* Hummus - yummus! Flavorful w/ a hefty whole pita bread
* Charred Broccolini - healthy never tasted so good - we loved the romesco sauce & those signature toasted lemon breadcrumbs
* Mushroom Potstickers - AYKM? We could have just eaten these & been thoroughly happy. They serve 6 to an order & we were fighting over the last one.

For dessert, we shared a pastry, the Banana Date Cake, dense w/ a fresh coconut topping. Perfect with our Decaf Americano & Matcha Green Tea.

This review is all about the food - the most important aspect of any restaurant. The restaurant design is a little stark & the lights were on way too high. Let's have low lighting for dinner please! Maybe warm up the place with local art or textiles on the walls. But really this is minor in our book, considering the food & outstanding service. Thanks to Ethan, our server - you rock!

Y'all gotta hit this place - it's absolutely A+ eats!!
