Ask for Skyy or Dante or Melissa (or Sammy if you're at the bar) and you'll come back again and again. It's a super cool vibe. It's the servers that pull the place together here. (there are other great ones that I failed to mention as well) Since the new ownership they've turned sorta "bistro wannabe" (feels like a bit of a California mentality) -- not right for Desert Hills IMHO. Place is a sort of north Phoenix dive - nothing special just a bar and grill. Sandwich beat my expectations. Crowd seemed mostly local. Good news was the food was great and the pastrami had great flavor but if I had to find a negative it was a bit dry.
I give it a 4 because I was expecting pretty bad...
