I've ordered from here a few times. The good a delicious 🤤. Keep up the good work.
This place was nice and the food was good. I’m sure I could get all snobby if I wanted to really be searching for a diamond-in-the-rough hole-in-the-wall joint. But that’s not this place. Clean, well lit, food came out quick and tasted good.
I just came off a long few days at work and if the food was really that bad, It’d be all I remembered so must have been pretty good!
Also, my teammate turned me on to agua Fresca so wins all around.
I saw a few folks complaining and I I guess they really haven’t had to eat really bad food and good for them! Must be nice lol.
I was really looking forward to trying Cocina Adamex after seeing all the hype on IG a few months ago. Unfortunately the hype was way overdone. We landed here after finding our favorite Mexican restaurant closed for the 4th (1 mile away). First thing we noticed is the swamp cooling so it was warm & sticky inside, yuk. We ordered the red chilaquiles & huevos rancheros which were not good. The red sauce was not homemade & eggs way overdone. The rancheros had no sauce, a few sautéed tomatoes, and a ton of raw onions; eggs also overdone. Both items served on a very small plate with only a side of refried beans, 3 chips and a tiny container of salsa on the side. Add 2 bottled sodas and tip and paid $50 for a terrible meal and very little food. The only good item was the freshly made flour tortilla. Not sure how their famous conchas are but we won’t be back to try them. Tip: go the OG restaurant down the street for authentic Mexican food that will fill your belly, and their free chips & salsas are amazing too!
Its ok. Best i can say. Tortillas are the best part. Food is mediocre. You can always tell a good Mexican restaurant by its salsa served with chips and its not just subpar its bad. Also, I go to a restaurant for its food service and experience. This restaurant hosted presidential candidate Kamala to try to influence the election which is just not something I need from a restaurant. And they promote it on all the screens in the restaurant. Just drop the politics and make good food.
Their food is always delicious and the staff there is very friendly and knowledgeable.
Horrible service!!!!! The young man and young lady at the register had horrible personalities and had an attitude. The young man would just give me dirty the whole time there.
The bakery alone is worth the visit. A buck and a quarter for pumpkin, pineapple or lemon empanadas is hard to beat.
Atmosphere is great, very friendly service, lots of choices, including lots of coffee and pastry options! Great for a meal or a coffee and snack stop. One unexpected item, I order chile rellanos from different restaurants regularly for the last 20+ years and I have never had one come with cheddar cheese. This is not listed on the menu and it's not able to be adjusted. Just a heads up if you're ordering this and don't prefer cheddar cheese.
La Verda a lot to say is the best place the food is not delicious and nothing comes close to being Mexican food my son ordered chorizo with egg and that was a disaster I just want to say don't go with the advertising videos that say why only pure pig

1045 AM we arrived. There was no tables open. Was disappointed to find out you have to pre-order the large pan dulce 1 day before. We placed our breakfast and a lunch item in order. Main room was very loud with overhead music , it was loud to talk to our toddler and her Mom. So we waited 15 minutes for a outside table. We waited 40 minutes before we realized, no food has arrived. No tostadas chips or salsa to much on. The main room.was half empty by now.
I went up to the counter, asked about wait time, when another customer came up behind me and said her group has been waiting for an hour. The worker behind the counter asked if we just arrived-- we arrived 1 hr earlier.
We waited another 30 minutes, then I asked if order was close to being done-- can we get order to go. When i got back to table, 1 plate had arrived but it was the wrong food. Waitress also dropped off menudo but no utensils. 1215 hrs: We asked to have our money refunded after 1 3/4 hrs of waiting.
We haven't decided if we will ever come back, if we do, we know we need to set aside at least 2 hours of time to eat here.
Parking: Parking lot, alley were full. We got lucky a customer was leaving.

The truth is, the only thing that is good is the chocolate, the Conchas and the Menudo, because the enchiladas and chilaquiles, the sauce looks like they come from cans.
