Look, this place is really cool. The atmosphere is so fun, the band was great and not so loud that you couldn’t enjoy the talking to the people around you.

Now the food, was horrible. Both of my kids got a personal pan pizza and they were burnt. They were also $20 for each, for a personal size pizza. My wing sauce was really good but they were gross. Slimy and chewy. If wife had a Caesar and said it was fine. Overall, the place is awesome and i would go back but not to eat. It is so overpriced and not good on top of that.

I highly recommend this spot. The beers are cold and the vibes are great. But the best part of this place is the staff, especially Ang, Taylor and Tori. Stop what you’re doing and come in…. And make sure you tip well.

Just had lunch at The Backyard Desert Ridge and I’m pretty sure I accidentally discovered my new favorite spot in Phoenix. 🌵🍔

First off, the food was ridiculously good. The kind of good where you take a bite, stop mid-conversation, and everyone at the table just nods silently like “yeah… this place is legit.” Everything came out fast, hot, and delicious.

But the real MVP of the night was our waitress Holly. If there were an Olympic sport for being an amazing server, she’d be taking home the gold, silver, and probably the bronze too. 🥇

Holly was:
• Super friendly
• On top of everything before we even had to ask
• Somehow refilling drinks like a ninja we never saw coming
• And funny enough that we were half tempted to invite her to sit down and join us

At one point I’m pretty sure she read our minds because right when we started thinking “another round sounds good,” she was already walking up with the menu like a hospitality psychic.

Between the great food, awesome atmosphere, and Holly basically running the smoothest table service known to mankind, the whole experience was a 10/10.

If you go, do yourself a favor and ask for Holly. Just be warned… she might set the bar so high that every other server in the future feels like a disappointment

Good, service, and vibes here were great.
I got the bbq aioli burger and it was fantastic! I loved that they put it on the side too for more - it was addictive.
Live band too!
I really appreciated the service. I am celiac and our waitress went above and beyond to make sure I had a safe meal. Gluten free burger bun and separate fryer for the French fries. My waitress assured me the bun would be handled separately from gluten-containing buns.
Oh - and the frozen prickly pear margarita? I’ll come back again and again for that too!
