Amazing shop to have a custom-made cake. We found a photo of a design we liked and they adapted it to become a 2 layer cake. They nailed the artwork, the gradient was awsome, we loved the barrel cactus, best of all the cake was moist and tasty. I deducted 1 star as I gave them adaptive freedom to design the cacti how they want but I told them a couple of times that I wanted the writing to go all the way around the top layer. Nonetheless, it was beautiful, and our cherished neighbor loved it. Is it expensive?...well, yes. A few hundred dollars...but you are paying for time and design. If you want a cheap cake go to Frys. Lol. If this is a special occasion, just do it.

I placed an order for a birthday cake (well over $80) and originally asked for amaretto and custard, but I called back within 30 minutes to change it to white chocolate mousse and confetti cake when quickly realizing the individuals the event was for do not care for custard. The person I spoke to confirmed the change. When I picked up the cake, it was completely wrong. I called back right away, and they asked me to send a photo of the cake to prove it—so I did. I emailed the photo as requested, clearly showing the mistake.
I have spoken with both Darian and Vanessa over a 2 month period, who each time assures me that someone from management will be calling me back. That call has yet to come. I’ve now called EIGHT times trying to speak with someone in charge, and still no response.
Yes, the cake was eaten at the event—we had already picked it up and didn’t have time to order a new one. But that’s not the point. The cake was meant for two specific people, and they couldn’t eat it. The entire purpose of placing the order and confirming the flavor change was to accommodate them, and the bakery completely failed to deliver. To make matters worse, their response to my Google review was filled with lies and false information. Instead of acknowledging the mistake or apologizing (to me, the paying PREVIOUS customer), they tried to shift the blame onto me, which seems to be the trend when reading their responses to the many other negative reviews on Google. It’s insulting, dishonest, and shows zero accountability.
This business clearly has time to post defensive and misleading replies online, but not to pick up the phone or resolve a valid customer complaint. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy is appalling. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Spend your money somewhere that actually values its customers.

What really pushed it over the edge was the management’s complete lack of accountability. They ignore calls, won’t offer even a basic apology for their mistakes, and then lie in their responses to bad reviews to save face. It's disappointing to see a business care more about appearances online than actually fixing problems. 0 stars for me. If you want your special event to be everything but ruined, I'd steer clear of this place.

This lack of professionalism turned a disappointing mistake into a truly frustrating experience. If you care about getting what you ordered or receiving any kind of customer service/basic respect, avoid this place. ***As my review history reflects, I really do not like leaving anything but 5 star reviews for any business, but this place really lowered the bar. It's almost comical that they have time to respond in detail to their 1 star reviews, yet no time to make a 2 minute return phone call to a PREVIOUS customer. That alone speaks volumes.*** To be clear in regards to their response, it was within 1 hour that I called back with the cake correction. I spoke with Darian and Vanessa (I believe that was her name) each time in the 6 week period that I called, both of whom stated they were not in management and would have someone return my call. Clearly honesty isn't one of this bakery's strong points either. On top of that, if I would have received a call back, I'd gladly have returned the remainder of the cake for a refund, but was never given this option. Darian asked that I send in a picture, which I did, so I thought that would be enough. Silly me. Moral of the story, do your research, read the reviews, there's A LOT of local businesses that you'd be MUCH better off going to for your special day/ event if you value the ethics, respect, customer service, and an all around great experience you deserve!

Went to Baker Wee to order a cake for our 20th wedding anniversary. Tried to order the same cake I have ordered from them before for my wife's birthday. She is lactose intolerant to a degree. Last time they were to able to help us out and make a buttercream frosting and butter cream filling for the vanilka cake. This time I was told no and it could not be done. I am just surprised that for a repeat customer goes there a lot they could not help me out. Also helping a customer who has a dairy allergy. I guess I will be looking for a new place to order my cakes.

I work for a major credit card company and came across this bakery per recommendation for a catering order for company, recognition event. I would really like to emphasize how smooth everything went. The communication was great, everything was very simple and they even built me a custom order within my budget. We had this delivered, and the gentleman delivering was extremely friendly, on time and very professional. I would highly encourage using this business for your needs as I intend to use them in the future

We got a cake here for our wedding and could not have been happier. We did their bigger tasting which was great since we got a good sense of flavors and combos. They did an amazing job with the decorations for us and we had so many compliments on both the look and flavors of the cake! I cannot recommend this place enough, for any of your cake needs! (Especially love their carrot cake and their strawberry cake!)

The absolute best smash cake!! We were looking for a sugar free / lightly sweetened cake and landed at the bakery with a few cupcakes to sample. We ordered the vanilla cake with whipped cream and custard filling (all sugar free) in a 4" round. The cake itself was soo delicious and the perfect consistency for a smash cake. The cake decorations blew us away and exceeded our expectations. We are so pleased with the cake and our son loved it even though he's not huge on sweets yet. Made for an incredible first birthday celebration! Highly recommend! Thank you Scott and the team.
