The bread. OMG, the bread. I'm enamored of the multigrain. (The rye is milder than most.) The breads are not only vegetarian: they're vegan and oh-so-tasty. If you go early, you might find some fresh from the oven breadsticks, perfectly salted. The gentleman who served me recommended a sneak a piece in the car. He wasn't wrong!

This was my first time visiting the Balkan Bakery, and I’m already planning my next trip back! It’s a charming, family-owned spot with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
