Was on my way to another bar when me and my friend noticed this place with all there lights and decided to check it out had no clue it was a lgtbq bar and omg this place is amazing one of the best patio set ups I’ve seen this place has such a great theme throughout and the bouncer is one of the nicest people you’ll meet overall the bartender I had was super sweet as well and we were served pretty fast for it being really packed I love this place I plan to come more often now such a vibe I recommend coming for a drink

I stopped in on a Thursday about 7:30pm for a drink. The bar wasn't too busy, yet there were two lines at the bar for drinks. I stood in one for about 10 minutes, and literally no one was served a drink. The bartenders were standing around with their hands seemingly up their arses. I left and will never go back. Sorriest bar service I've ever encountered. The door guy is cool though.

Thursdays at Bar 1 are the place to be. Tami or Jimmie will definitely cure what ails you. A little busy at times, but you cannot beat buy one, get one free. Jimmie and Tami will absolutely take care of you. You’ll have a great time, make a friend, and leave happy.

I love Bar1. The service is always great, and the crowd is always welcoming. But, I IMPLORE the owners to please play better music. The music playing is always WAY too boring, slow, or odd Euro style videos that make no sense. Or else it’s people playing their own music on the jukebox. If they had a great gay playlist full of pop and dance hits with a little current and Latin tracks this would be the best gay bar in Phoenix. Until then it will be the best quiet watering hole.

Best LGBTQIA+ bar in town! This is a relaxed lounge bar. It is easy to strike up a conversation and the people are very friendly. The most crowded night is Thursday where they have a 2x1 drinks (tip accordingly) so it is expected to have long wait times for a drink. The staff is super friendly, straight people go there too and no one bothers them. The patio is super cute and the setting is made so people would interact with each other. If you order food, you can take it in, just absolutely no outside drinks allowed. 0% tolerance to predatory behaviour, and this is the reason as to why people from all shades and colors of the ? prefer this bar upon others.

Went to Bar 1 with my wife and a friend that doesn't go out much (he was a bit fearful of the new environment and bar scene). The service was great, we watched a tennis match, drank some beer, and enjoyed some light bar food. I know my wife and I are not the targeted audience, but my friend fits the bill. Great time, I am certain he will drop in from time to time to enjoy the atmosphere and kind people.

Decided to stop in here after work as I pass it every day on my way home. I wasn't expecting much, just a chill divey bar atmosphere to have a few beers. I came in and sat down at the end of the bar which was the only open seat at the bar. It wasn't too busy, just a full bar and some people at tables. I waited as the bar tender was finishing with other guests. After that however, I continued to wait as he moved on to polishing glasses and chatting with his other customers. I've worked in the bar industry for 10 years and was taught to pay attention to the full bar and not just hang around one section. Still, I figured I'd just wait until I caught his attention. After 30 min a new crowd came in and were instantly served at which point I decided to walk out. Had I had any reason to at that point spend my money there I would have walked over to him but didn't want to lose my seat, so finding somewhere else to go was the better option
