I ordered this birthday based on a picture I saw and Barb's Bakery nailed it. This came was the best I have every had in terms of looks and taste. It was the standout hit of the party. We didn't even want to cut it, it looked so good. The cake itself was light and heavenly. It was their pink champaign cake with strawberry filling. If the space is 1-10 that cake was a 20! I am seriously going to order one again hair for house, smaller of course. Barbs never disappoints as they have been one of my go to valley bakers but this cake seriously elevated their game!

Adding to my review... I’m beyond thrilled with my birthday cake! I keep looking at my pictures and showing it off to everyone. This year was a big one—I turned 50 years young! Since I was 5, I’ve had the same birthday cake every single year, but I decided to celebrate this milestone by doing something completely different. The flavor combination we chose ended up being a close version of the wedding cake I always wanted but never had, which made it even more special.

Walked in door greeted , and said they’d be would be with me in a minute. Gentleman came out of back greeted and helped me, made recommendations. We chitchatted and I cashed out, he made a recommendation for one of their danishes, he put in bag free of charge. He was very kind, it was definitely a nice change of pace, everyone should check this place out!

I've bought two cakes for my parent's birthdays this year and they loved them. I wish I had taken a picture of my dad's face yesterday when I opened the box with his cake in it. We hadn't had Red Velvet cake in a long time. It was already made but my family enjoyed it. The photo of a cake looks a little weird because it had just been sliced. I bought a cookie platter for my students for Valentine's Day. I was concerned they wouldn't eat them all. My students and other staff ate the entire platter within a week. Thank you Barb's bakery!

The designs and images Barb's Bakery used for the top of the cookies were creative and meaningful. We love Barb’s Bakery! And the staff so wonderful. We got cherry cheesecake, upside down pineapple cake, and cupcakes. Our dinner guests loved them too and raved. They’ve been around the neighborhood a bit, and finally stopped through. Don’t pass up Barb’s Bakery. We like Pie Snob, AJs Bakery from time to time and a few other spots for desserts, when we can find them, but we’ll be seeing Barb & the crew more because they not only are the delicious, not too sugary/sweet just the right balance of everything, and the prices are way reasonable. King cake was not fresh. I ordered it for pickup today but got a call 3 days ago that it was ready for pickup. I advised them of their error and they acted like it was just an extra. I picked up my king cake today as planned and after trying it, I can tell they just let the same king cake sit there for 3 days. It is very dry and not fresh. Very disappointed.

We ordered a 10” Carrot Cake for an 80th Birthday Celebration and it was incredible! Barbs Bakery did an amazing job! The Carrot Cake was moist, flavorful decorated beautifully. Thank you Barbs Bakery for an incredibly well made Cake. There still are bakers that know their craft.

When I called per their instructions to confirm the order I was told they never got the order and they would br closed for Thanksgiving on Saturday, the day I needed the cake. Nowhere on their website did they say they would be closed Saturday. If I got there within the hour I could pick ip something even though the cake would be 3 days old by the time of the birthday celebration. I have ordered from Barb!s for years but never again.

I ordered a dozen cupcakes, 6 german chocolate and 6 lemon ras, and they were beautifully made! However, they were more on the dry side than moist. I was hoping to have an experience as described in most of the reviews, but unfortunately didn't. The icing had a bitter aftertaste as if too much dye. This was not worth my time, money or driving sadly.
