My daughter and I recently visited Basilic Vietnamese Kitchen, and overall, we had a great experience! We both ordered pho—she had the chicken pho, and I went for the combination plate with a side of bone marrow. We also tried the wonton soup.
The pho was absolutely delicious—flavorful, comforting, and just what I was hoping for. The bone marrow was a rich and tasty addition that made the dish even more satisfying. The only downside for me was the wonton soup—the wontons were overcooked in my opinion, which made the texture less enjoyable.
What really stood out, though, was the customer service. Everyone was so welcoming and attentive—it made the meal that much better. Plus, the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. We’ll definitely be back!
I had dinner there the other night. While the food was good, the restrooms were disgusting. It looked like they had not been cleaned in a while. There was two stalls but one toilet was out of service. The other one that was working was gross and when you flushed it, water came out. You could see the water all over the floor. The toilet looked like no one had cleaned it and the toilet paper was everywhere. The sink to wash your hands was messy. My hands didn't feeled clean even though I washed them with soap. My husband told me the urinals in the men's restroom hadn't been cleaned. There was pee everywhere! If they can't bother to clean the restrooms, it makes me think how dirty the kitchen might be! I couldn't eat my food any longer. I felt disgusted. The service was good but I don't feel good eating at a restaurant or even someone's home, if they can't bother to clean the bathrooms, how clean is everything else. I can imagine them reusing dirty rags to clean the tables back there or them not cleaning their grills.
My wife is Vietnamese and loves the food food here.
Simple and real natural food, service was so good. Vietnamese food is fresh and healthy and they got it. They could improve the chairs, but all the place was great.
If you're ordering pho and you're vegan/vegetarian, do not eat here. You will regret it. It was terrible. The mushroom broth tasted like water. There was absolutely no flavor at all. I asked for more lime thinking it would help, nope. I left hungry and immediately went to PT Pho to buy a second lunch. Totally worth it because PT Pho has amazing pho and I will only go there from now on. Basilic should do better.
Food was excellent, the wait staff was understaffed but other than that great local spot.
Food always feels fresh. Ingredients feel good quality. I’ve had a lot of pho and noodles around the city and this place has some of the best
Great pho, very friendly service. Will be back with friends.
We love to have Vietnamese food on our lunch dates. There were only a few other diners when we were there. We did enjoy the food, and there were only a few negatives. The Shrimp and Pork Spring Rolls didn't have much pork in them. The Fried Chicken Imperial Rolls were overcooked but still had flavor. They did have to remake the Grilled Pork Vermicelli Bowl because I requested no bean sprouts or cilantro. I thought it did taste great once he had those ingredients removed. Our server was very pleasant.
The plain fried wings and pho are winners. :)

Beef pho with the bone marrow was delicious. The beef lemongrass noodle salad was amazing! Service was quick and our server was so nice. Definitely a must eat!
Great meal and service!
Food was 10/10, service was 10/10, music was 10/10. I recommend Basilic to anyone that likes quality Vietnamese food. I’ll be back
Horrible service. The manager was a dick, respectfully. Janelle was amazing!
The food was average. The beef dish had more hard potatoes and bell peppers than meat. The vermicelli noodles w/chicken was not good.
