Bear and the Honey is one of my favorite spots. Everything they make is ridiculously good. You can tell they care. The vibe’s always chill, the staff is super nice, and their food has come through for me every time. Just a great local spot I keep going back to. Only one word…EXCELLENT
So many great things to eat here! My favorite are the croissants and peanut butter cookies! But I also love their breakfasts, the BAB and the breakfast burrito! My go to coffee order is the salted caramel cold bruh. I’m also occasionally known to enjoy the endless mimosas on Sunday too!!

I discovered this place on the Too Good To Go App and placed order for pickup within a few hours. I received a small variety of muffin, brownie, cinnabon and cookies. All looked good until I tasted them. All were either hard as rock, falling apart or just bland. This is due to age as sugar breaks down. The blueberry muffins tasted rotten as blueberries inside were old. I read another review and saw a similar experience from Too Good To Go pickup. Owner responded that items are 3 days old, which explains the condition of these items. I was expecting items baked within 24 hours that did not sell previous day. That means they leave out 2-3 day old items. Not fresh. I'm definitely not returning to this place and I advise everyone to ask when the items were actually baked.

Just finished visiting Bear and the Honey where I got a DELICIOUS piece of quiche Lorraine. I can’t wait to come back and try some of their other great looking pastries!

Oh my god a million out of ten stars. I had two sleeping babies in the car and they were kind enough to bring my order out to me. Rahel was so kind. Will absolutely be coming back!!!!!

Did the too good to go app. And everything was stale and hard, very hard.
Quite disappointing.
Plus the gentleman had his earbud in and took Several minutes to notice me even though I was standing right there and I could clearly see him. I even said hello, and he still did not hear me.

This place popped up recently so we decided to try it. The aesthetic is cute but very uncomfortable. The high chairs are not suitable for larger people and are probably a hazard if you don't pay attention when getting off as they will tilt or fall if you aren't careful. I wish they had a variety of seating such as low tables since high top tables aren't wheelchair accessible.
As for pastries, we ordered the chocolate croissant and banana bread. They were okay, they warmed up the croissant too much so the chocolate was seized and burnt tasting. The banana bread is good and soft but it didn't taste much like banana.
I got a lavender latte and my partner got a salted caramel cold bruh. I liked the lavender latte but the espresso tasted a bit watered down and too light for my taste. The cold bruh was too bitter for our liking and ended up tossing it. Overall it wasn't bad, but not sure if I'll return.

Truly a gem (I almost want to gate keep)! I’ve been in the valley nearly 6 years and had the best chocolate croissant I’ve ever had in the PHX area. Staff is super personable and friendly! Highly recommend!

Bear and the Honey make the cutest and yummiest birthday cakes and cupcakes. We've been lucky enough to order from Mo for a few years, and it's been amazing to have her beautiful cakes included in our kids' birthday celebrations.
Also had a chorizo jalapeño cheddar pocket and Mocha latte today, and they paired surprisingly well together!
