Great food as always. We had reservations for lunch. One member requested the fish that is not on the lunch menu, but is on the dinner menu. They were extremely accommodating. Service was excellent. Nice, well-trained young man.

We went for Thanksgiving dinner and it was super busy. The service was a bit lacking as a result. Our server was very nice and did a great job of explaining things, but we didn't see much of him past his introduction. My friend ordered a steak with 3 jumbo shrimp and they charged an extra $18 for those in addition to his $86 steak. I ordered a traditional Thanksgiving meal for $50 and everything was included except drinks and dessert. Our bill for two people, including tax, was $212. Two meals, two glasses of wine and 1 dessert. On a final note, the uniforms the server staff wears could use a big time upgrade.

We had our plans changed for Thanksgiving when the caterer failed. We took the only time slot available and the lobby was elbow to elbow with people like us, hungry on a holiday. We had hit a rush. We eventually got seated. The first round of cocktails were slow coming out, but afterward our waiter made sure we weren't waiting. It was a fantastic experience all around. It's definitely a place for a special occasion.

My wife and I celebrated our 19th anniversary last night at The Capital Grille in Phoenix, and it was truly the best experience we've ever had there — and we've been regulars for years. From the moment we were seated, everything felt special. Our table had a handwritten anniversary card and a rose waiting, which was an incredibly thoughtful touch and immediately made the evening feel personal and memorable. Our server, Susan White, was outstanding. She struck the perfect balance of attentive and relaxed — never rushing us, always kind, and completely on point with every detail. We started with a great bottle of wine and some appetizers that were delicious. Both of our steaks were cooked perfectly, and every dish arrived at just the right time. The meal was flawless from start to finish. A special thank-you to Jennifer, the manager, who stopped by to check in with us. She's a fantastic leader — warm, engaging, and very detail-oriented. She asked specific questions about how our steaks were prepared, even reacting with “Oh, that looks amazing,” which showed she genuinely cares about the guest experience and the quality of the food being served. To top it all off, we received a complimentary dessert, which made the night feel even more appreciated and celebrated. Susan and Jennifer both made a meaningful impression on us. They are exceptional at what they do and truly elevate The Capital Grille to another level. Thanks to them and the entire team for making our 19th anniversary unforgettable.

My husband and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary on Saturday the 22nd. We couldn't think of a better place than Capital Grille to celebrate. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were welcomed. The food was absolutely delicious and our waiter was attentive without being obtrusive. The wait staff was also excellent. We consider Capital Grille our go to dinner home when we're in Phoenix. Thank you all for making it a great evening.

We had a birthday dinner here last night at 8:30 for 9 guests and our experience was phenomenal! Every aspect was executed well, food was great, and we did not feel rushed at all by the staff (which was amazing). Our server Monce and her server assistant Gabriel took amazing care of our party. Monce was nice,  knowledgeable on the menu, offered detailed service and great suggestions for our party. I've been to other Capital Grille locations in other states and this location stands out on top. A huge thank you to all the staff for our experience!
We went for the Wagyu and Wine event and it was fantastic! The food was prepared perfectly and the wines were amazing! Great value and a great date night event!

The kitchen isn't cookin' on all cylinders; from over cooked steaks to cold sides and overcooked lobsters, all was not normal. Staff was, as always, professional and tried to make good...but the kitchen fell well below standards.

It was what we've come to expect from this steakhouse. They have perfect food and service with a pretty hefty price, however not any higher than comparable restaurants. The filet and lobster tail were delectable. The peppers served with the fried calamari were divine. Lobster mac n cheese - as always, on point! Thx for a great time.

As always, a group of us celebrated a birthday. And, as always, the Capital Grille was perfection. The food is always amazing, the ambiance is the same, and our wait staff was beyond fabulous. We had the cutest wait staff--funny, quick, perfect. We made another Capital Grille memory. The only sad part was that one of our group has moved out of town and only has Capital Grille memories!!

Everything. Was. Perfect. Joseph, our server, was not only delightful but shared insights on the menu and was willing to take a very personal approach to our order. When we needed boxes for left-overs, he went the extra mile by ensuring we had "new" mashed potatoes and Caesar salad with fresh slices of parm! Wow. Every bite of our meals was cooked perfectly and to the "degree" we asked, i.e., medium, medium rare, etc. The BEST mashed potatoes we've ever had! Steaks melted in our mouths. Scallops in brown butter, "chef's kiss!" Great environment, and we had a lovely night. We'll be back...and ask for Joseph!
