Belly Kitchen and Bar Reviews
I wanted to like this place as it had been recommended numerous times. Maybe it wasn't the best choice for Mother's Day to take my wife, her mom, and her Aunt as they clearly were not trained or prepared for the influx in business (I say that as I look around the restaurant and see plenty of empty tables so I really am not sure if they had an increase in business). Good service and great ambience!
We decided last minute to check out Belly. I was intrigued by the menu and it certainly didn’t disappoint. It was very busy but our hostess was very kind to accommodate us without a reservation. Menu
Belly Kitchen and Bar offers an excellent dining experience with a truly exciting and flavorful menu. The restaurant is known for its unique fusion dishes, including seaweed fries, curry cocktails, and miso ranch. Guests can enjoy a cozy atmosphere, especially on the charming rooftop patio that provides a view of Phoenix. The service is warm and attentive, with staff eager to help and ensure a great experience. Standout dishes include the pork belly with egg, which captures the essence of Asian street food. The bar serves creative cocktails, such as "The Sound and The Curry," and espresso martinis.
The restaurant is a small space, so making a reservation is recommended, especially when the weather is nice enough to enjoy the patio. While the dining area is tight, the overall feel is neighborly and kind, making it a memorable place to visit. Recent reviews highlight the delicious KFC Buns, Soft Shell Crab Buns, and Pork Fried Rice, with many guests raving about the crab buns. Belly Kitchen and Bar is a hidden gem that is certainly worth checking out for its experimental food and friendly service.
