Absolutely love this place! I make it a point to go once a week for lunch. Their Bento Box lunch deal is perfect. Tasty, more than enough food, and a great price. The customer service is always amazing. They also keep it nice and cool inside against the hot AZ heat. I don't have one bad thing to say about this place!

After spending 4 years in Japan I found it hard finding a local Japanese restaurant. Came across Bento Box in 2020 and have been going ever since with no plans of trying another place. Closest I have found to what you will get in Japan without going to Japan. Shout out to John who has memorized our orders making for quick and easy visits! Best ramen in the valley.

I would say this is more of a Korean restaurant than a Japanese restaurant. Which is why I am giving them a 4 instead of 5. Wrong expectation was set. Food was good, price was a bit higher compared to value but not too bad.

This is a small sushi place in a strip mall and the atmosphere is not 5 star but the food and service are.I've been there twice and both times I was very pleased. The food prep was fast and it was very delicious. The service was super, my drink cup was never empty, they would clear an empty plate off the tables the moment we took the last piece of food off it.My favorite server Sommer is very kind, all servers are steadily working in the dining room.It's a very good stop for sushi.

Staff is horrible, to be honest the customer service isn't what I was expecting. I walked in I get it it's lunch time so they are very busy and I'm very understanding. The lady was super rude from the beginning before taking my order she goes give me 19 minutes I have customers waiting and I look at her like I'm also a customer a paying customer! But whatever I let that go after she basically proceeded to tell me what I should order and I hated that. I told her that's not what I want and I'm not going to order what you want just to accommodate you. So I walked out like I wouldn't have minded waiting 50 minutes to get my food as I was in no rush and I wasn't like starving, but the way she delivered it was rude not my cup of tea.

Awesome little place - recommend going 'off hours' to avoid crowds, and sometimes the sushi chef sends out free samples of something unique. I'm a fresh sushi and sashimi fan so this is my place as opposed to a location like Trappers - which is has a lot of fried and baked sushi. Those are available here too, but not my first choice. if you're unsure - get a dinner Bento box, the Spicy Pork Bulgolgi is delicious.

I have been here numerous times and I just love it. I get consistent service and I love that it isn’t a huge restaurant. When I come in it’s usually pretty busy but a table or two left. So many yummy things. I have tried many rolls, my favorite being the Mexican Ninja! Their Tonkotsu and shoyu ramen are amazing. The bento box gives you a little bit of everything. I usually leave spending about $70 for two people after having an appetizer, ramen, a roll or two, some Kirins and large sakes! Will continue to come here.
