Bertha's Restaurant "El sabor de los Mochis"

Food is mediocre at best. Service is horrible. And they take your order and forget about you. Every time I went here. They give you a chips with salsa. But when I come, they bring this salsa and chips with my food. They messed up your orders on food. But hey, that’s the owners for you. Keep the restaurant understaffed. Nobody in here speaks English. I don’t know why I keep going back. I guess it’s because I support small businesses.

I called to see if they spoke English because I had a question. The first person said no and asked me to wait. I waited for less than a minute when another person got on the phone speaking Spanish and I asked the same question. She put me on hold and than the phone made all kinds of wiggling noises than someone hung up. NOT VERY GOOD COSTUMER SERVICE.

Beautiful people beautiful hidden little gem so kind and such amazing food the salsa is warm and kinda mild never had warm salsa well hot lol it was so good tho perfect flavor of spicy sweet savory wow and now the tacos

Took forever to get a soda I ordered!!, the space is limited, the food is not great and they charge a lot of money for food of poor quality and a cheap atmosphere!! Ill never go back!! Never

Love this place, the food is really good and tasteful. The employees are friendly, fast and the place feels like home. The menudo blanco is sooo good well everything is good in this restaurant, highly recommended.

I’d like to start with a WOW!! I had underestimated this restaurant due to its location and its exterior. However as soon as we walked in the service was quick and courteous. I felt I walked in to someone’s home. But let me tell you the first spoonful was the best I had ever had anywhere in the US!! Definitely authentic flavors! I recommend Bertha’s w a 10 out of five stars!!

I ordered a large red pozole and it was enough to feed two people
Cabbage lime onion and cilantro came with it as well as a sliced buttered roll
Not spicy at all, unsure about if there are pigs feet in here rather than shredded pork round. I would not select this again or recommend this dish but I would be open to trying something else possibly.

This tiny little restaurant was not what I expected I'm sorry it was very delicious, the waitress was very courteous and the food was just hot cheesy and cooked well, inside the restaurant itself was tiny and that doesn't mean that the food was cooked bad it was just not expected to how delicious it was. I would definitely go back, and if you like good Mexican food this is a good spot in Phoenix, do you like good Mexican food this is a good spot, fast, clean and the price was just right

The service was bad, the food tasteless, the atmosphere of the place is a little run down and very noisy, but nevertheless I would return to give it the benefit of a second chance.

The golden Camaro taco just two shrimp inside the taco that's crazy and they charge expensive last time here
