I am a dasher, picked up an order. There were 2 cooks in the kitchen. One was serving beans on a plate ( she had gloves one) the other server was heating up the pan on grill, she was flipping the bread without gloves. Make me wonder if this was just a one time thing. Or does this lady alway use her bare hands to touch customers food. I have never eaten here myself. I guarantee, I never will...

Purchased a LG menudo, very little meat and mostly hominy. I feel ripped off!

When we went in they didn’t attend us good, when we got our food they forgot to give us everything , spoons, verdura, our cups with ice, everything in general , we were waiting for 20 minutes but we ended up. Going so many times to the front to ask for things they didn’t give us, when we told the lady to pay our amount she said ok and just stayed talking with these men instead of doing her job, it was a very bad service 👎🏼.

The meet in the tocos had a very nasty taste as if it were old and the menudo had a hair in it very dissatisfied and spent $50 for the food to not to be good the customer service was fantastic though .

I visited Birrieria Obregon in Phoenix on a Sunday morning with my wife, sister, and a friend, and we had a bit of a mixed experience.
My sister and I were craving menudo, so we both ordered the red menudo. The flavor was authentic and delicious, and the meat was tender, but unfortunately, the soup was only lukewarm at best. On the bright side, the large flour tortilla that came with it was fresh, hot, and delicious. My friend ordered the birria tacos, which were also flavorful, but the meat inside was just warm, even though the corn tortilla was hot. The salsas, however, were absolutely incredible and saved the day!
The star of the show was undoubtedly my wife's carne asada burrito. The meat was tender, perfectly seasoned, and cooked traditionally over an open flame with mesquite charcoal. It tasted exactly like the authentic carne asada I've had from the best taco shops in Baja California, in places like Tijuana and Mexicali. The salsas were great, and the fresh, homemade flour tortilla was the perfect wrap for this amazing burrito.
While some of the dishes had temperature issues, the quality of the carne asada and the amazing homemade tortillas and salsas make this place worth a visit. If you go, I highly recommend ordering anything with their carne asada!

This spot has some of the best caldo de res, birria and carne asada tacos in Phoenix all served with fresh handmade tortillas. The spicy shrimp with rice and beans is unforgettable and the tortas, horchata, and flan are must-tries too. If you’re nearby definitely stop in you can split the tacos into two since they come with double tortillas.

This spot has amazing Mexican food, from the flavorful caldo de res and birria to the juicy carne asada tacos with fresh handmade tortillas. The spicy shrimp, tortas, and desserts like horchata and flan are all worth trying. If you’re near Van Buren Street, definitely stop in you won’t be disappointed.

Over priced for what you’re getting, the birria tacos were pretty subpar and the horchata was nothing to write home about either. Pretty disappointed since I heard so much good stuff about this place.

This is pretty nice spot. Doesnt look rundown. Has pretty big spacious dining area. Prices are also not bad. Its just the food that doesn't click. The meat in the Birria and steak tacos were extremely dry, no flavor. To go box is smaller than other places. Barely any rice or beans. Overall the place looks great, friendly staff but the flavor just isn't there!

Stopped in for lunch today at Birrieria Obregon and tried the asada fries—absolutely delicious! The fries were crispy, the carne asada was flavorful and tender, and everything was topped perfectly. Great portion, great flavor, and friendly service. I’ll definitely be back!
